For me it was a 1/2 ounce Strike King Red Eye Shad Tungsten Two Tap , 5.3 lbs . The third time in the last four years it came off a Red Eye Shad .

Nothing like a big ole smallmouth just clobbering a spinnerbait and darn near tearing the rod out of you hands!

Not sure it counts because i didnt land it, but my biggest by far this year was on a homemade 3/8oz spinnerbait with chartruse blades and a chart/white skirt, definitely would of been pushing 20in but he threw the hook at the bank. ??

The largie is the biggest one I’ve caught in 3 years.

My ‘21 big bass came on 24 August via a green pumpkin Z-Man creature bait, T-rigged, while fishing with @Fishing Rhino .

Purple Passion Motley Fishing Tungsten flipping jig 3/8 oz. I don't really remember, but I think it had a D-bomb or Baby Paca Craw for a trailer.

That's a hugh fish for the Upper Potomac! My biggest this year was on a finesse jig but was only like 4lbs.

Yes it is.  That is my PB for length.  A few days earlier I caught a 19 1/2” that weighed 4-12.  Now that one was a pig!  That’s my PB for weight.   My New Years resolution is to beat both next year! ?

No truly big fish for me this year, so trying to remember what may have been the biggest is difficult.  What I'm sure of is the majority of quality fish that I caught came on a JIg and RageCraw.
