  1. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Signal_Swimbait_Double_Attack_Rig/descpage-SSDAR.html Signal Swimbait Double Attack Rig was interesting, but Reviews weren't looking good, since people lost expensive glide baits on them. So I got to work and made my own version high quality and tough with high-end tackle and line.. Going to try it next time I am on water and report back.
  2. I had itch to use these hooks, so i got some toads today to give it a try.
  3. Hey guys, 7 months later, and an update for you. Found a very nice contractor. We made a connection once we met. He is a 27-year-old Marin and retired. We have our permits, and now we need to go to the county with the contractor and engineer and have a meeting before we start. I'll upload the final plan after a few corrections here for you to see. Basically, we have 6 months to finish the pond by law and have it ready before the rain. Now I am thinking of starting DIY structures for the fish and studying what fish besides bass I am going to stock and how many.
  4. Is it right hook?
  5. @MiceNReets That is one good-looking rod, and i can see that matchy matchy there 😅 Great combo. congrats
  6. Got the Bill Lewis Baby Bubbler 55, assuming it is going to be smaller than Whopper Plopper 60, I was wrong, the whopper is smaller overall despite the numbers, it can be hardware and hooks take a look side by side. No big deal, I just wanted to get another brand for my BFS setup, and it does not look like BFS to me, maybe more small mouth lure., BTW, I upgraded the hooks on baby bubbler to stronger and sharper hooks with one size bigger split rings, so the hooks will seat lower and hope for a better hook up ratio. Anyone can comment on them and tell me how they fish?
  7. Jizz guy, I miss you all. I thought Glenn had had enough of me and kicked me out 😂, I've been visiting places and picking up some lures.
  8. The love of my life is my fishing buddy. She is a very good angler, the one who keeps casting and casting until she catches them. There have been so many times when I’ve sat down to rest and just watched her go nonstop. I am blessed to have someone like her in my life and I thank God every day for that.
  9. Set up spooling station in RV, Works perfect.
  10. Thats the best we always found, But I always lost expensive lures haha, Yesterday I lost my second chad shad.
  11. @RenzokukenFisher I have the Hiroshima trout. They are very high quality. Thanks for the info, Definitely going to buy one.
  12. @RenzokukenFisher what was that glide bait?
  13. I am using them for BFS combos, 18lb and 21lb. very smooth casting, but my connection knot with 21lb will hit the tip time to time. I would rather use straight mono/fluoro. But the line is amazing. I still go for Varivas over them after trying them. SORRY FOR RIPED OFF FINGER in photo, As a fisherman no matter what I do, couply og my fingers are shredded, I call them fisherman fingers LOL.
  14. Using JB weld to fix my Hinkle Trout and upgrade the hooks for couple of swimbaits to see if it will be effective.
  15. Guys, I need help on the hook size for bull flat 5.8".
  16. @A-Jay, when you share their pictures, I thank you for sharing. You're making my day. BTW, our tortoise's name is Tank.
  17. @new2BC4bass What I understand from fishing these new combos is that they are MH, and the action is MF, and I can use them for a variety of lures except bottom techniques. So, I think it is the way to go for anglers like us to save money and have a few of the cheaper combos always rigged up and ready to go.
  18. An incid nt in California, It could be worst.
  19. Since you can't have enough MH combos and a crazy price jump, I decided to get a few Abu MAX combos. I started with two and caught fish with them from day one. They are not bad for $84. I spooled them with 12lb mono, and I think I am going to get two more. They're going to have the same kind of lure on them at all times, so I won't need to change it often while I am on the water.
  20. @NorcalBassin yup, I filled up my 3500 dally, $400, and I am not kidding, I drove to the cheapest gas station and that's what it cost.
  21. Caught a good one on Crankbait.
  22. @bulldog1935 Wow, they are awesome combos for the job, I don't go so long; I have a few 9' and 10' ugly and berkley spinning but conventional side, all two speeds with 7'4" rods. Those setups of yours are so cool. Thanks for sharing.
  23. @Jaybert My First loomise was Conquest 844mbr, and honestly, if I could have one rod for all my life, it would be 844mbr. Congrats and tight lines.
  24. I post my Swimbait catches on another website which is specialize big swimbait websites, and I am a member of.
  25. @Bass Rutten I might use that for some swimbaits as well, but I think I have enough to cover my swimbaits from 6" 3oz to 16" 24oz This one I am going to use for heavy cover in crazy cheese water in SoCal. or larger frogs 1oz or higher Texas rig weighted and etc... Do you have anything in mind?
