I May Regret This
I've caught several big bass..for me that's 5lbs and up ...in 6lb over the years. My PB weighed around 8 3/4lbs and I caught it on a grub crappie fishing with 6lb mono.

The Dark Side is Calling
Agreed...spinning rods are for losers..so don't be that guy. Like I tell my buddies you stick to your baitcaster no matter what...I'll keep catching more fish than you.

My girlfriend always said killer clowns looked dumb..which it is...but I said give it a chance. To both our surprise she really likes it. Oh and the raft story in Creepshow 2 is top notch..love it.

Also solid. Another one from the 80s that's lots of fun is Return of the living dead.

Even in Tobe Hoopers more fun movies...like Funhouse...he still has an uneasy gritty feel. I'm a fan.

Small pond has fish
You guys have it tough now but I'm from Iowa so this winter I'll be jealous of you guys. In fact I know exactly what I'm missing...I grew up outside of Houston.

Only one I haven't seen in the list is trick or treat. Cabin in the woods and hereditary are both favorites...although id say cabin isn't a horror movie it's more of a comedy aimed at horror movie buffs. For suspense I really liked Creep and Unsane. As far as horror that's not super well known I had a lot of fun with Funhouse. It's not a great film by any means but it's just a mega 80s good time..directed by Tobe Hooper the guy that brought us the original Texas Chainsaw massacre. Also I liked the first VHS...I'm not usually a fan of found footage but it was fresh and unique enough to be interesting. For a wierd/tough watch I thought Poughkeepsie Tapes was brutal...but we'll done.

Bass Fishing during Hottest Part of Summer
I fish mainly early morning like 6 to 9 am and then late evening 6 to 9pm...those are bite windows that exist most of the year where I am..the daytime bite right now is almost non existent for me since I'm shore bound. To be honest if my local ponds allowed it id night fish but they dont. I've been targeting bass lately in a shallow channel that connects two ponds...the bass move thru it mornings and evenings following pods of shad. The opposite side of the channel is lined with rip rap and is usually good for at least a few bites from fish targeting craws and green sunfish. Water temps here are at peak highs now and should start turning and going the other way in the next several weeks...my local ponds have had temps around 85 or so the past almost month so the bass are feeling it. As far as lures go I've been using all kinds of stuff to catch a few..mojo rigged worm, small spinnerbait, finesse jig, frog,Texas rigged worm have all accounted for a few fish recently. But my two all stars the past few weeks have been a kvd 1.5 shallow in neon bluegill or summer sexy shad and a 1/16th Ned rig with a trd in Canada craw or the deal. The past 30 bass or so I've caught id say 23 to 25 have been on one of those two.

Is that the one where they are trapped in the gas station with the convict guy?

A little gore is ok with but it goes into gross not scary pretty fast. I like to be scared not grossed out so I'm more into suspense and a good story that builds it

Rebel humpback...
I've been really getting into the shallow crankbait game lately. While I know there are lots of good options out there like Mann's minus 1, bandit footloose, kvd 1.5 shallow etc. I came across these and was intrigued. Anybody throw these?

Question for you guys that have used multiple reel brands (lews and daiwa)
Heard this about Abus as well...the low profile reels at least. We all know the round reels are tanks. I've got 4 revo sx that are probably 4 years old now and they work flawlessly.

Bandito Bug Review
I've looked at them a few times and thought about what I want out of that beaver/creature profile which is subtle action...so the rage style flappers don't add much for me. So because of this I refuse to pay $6 for a 7pk when I can get a 25pk of missile D bombs for $13.

Wait For It
Sounds like where I work. It's not government but it should be. They have us read and sign an MOC (management of change) for unit process changes so we are in the loop on control methods and safety concerns. You say oh when does this go into affect..they usually respond last week.
