What I do when I want to fish plastics is rotate the jika rig, tokyo rig, free rig, carolina rig, texas rig, etc, switching baits on each one type of rig. It'll keep you busy.

Agreed, put one on recently and cleaned up! Caught 5 different species of fish on 2 sizes.

I like the taper and the tip for casting, it has enough bend in it without being too noodley for me. The length is not too short... where I don't feel I can make a long cast from the bank. It's 7ft, I know most like 6'9" squarebill rods, but I'm accurate enough with it when casting to hit my targeted areas.

Plenty of people here in the US will be able to service them unless it's one of those crazy one off JDM only models.

Nice setup choices, that frogging setup with the 755 & Catalina is sweet. I should have bought more of the Catalinas.

It's a nice rod, clean looking, crisp, sensitive and the reel seat is comfortable. Tackle Tour has done a few write ups as well as w1r3d2fish..... as you mentioned. Abu also has great customer service. I asked them about buying a guide for an out of warranty rod, they gave me some options and they offered me 45% off on any new model, so the Fantasista was a no brainer. I fixed the other rod locally for about 10 dollars.

This one will be more extreme and more legendary than the previous model. The retail price is painful. This will be a classified section purchase for me if I ever pull the trigger on one.
