I got one on the way. I may have gotten the same map you have, it is a lake map the shows depth and all the boat ramps and marinas. Good map. For those of you that want one, Alpster will be posting some info on where to get them soon. 8-)

I've got one just northeast of me, they showed it in the new Diehard movie. Full of smallies and great fishing in the winter. One of the few lakes that doesn't freeze over. 8-)

I have 9 Kistlers. Out of the 9, one has had a reel seat issue when I got it. I was the 7'8" Flippin Stick. I tightened it down on a TD-Z, no more issues. All of the rods I have received this year have had Fuji reel seats. I think they fixed the problem. Every time this subject is brought up the same guys, (you know who you are) have to jump on the band wagon and start pointing out the reel seat problem. I guarantee that more than half of you have not even fished one day with one of these rods. If you have, you would be more than willing to overlook this mistake. They corrected it, get over it. BTW, I spoke to the man himself (Trey Kistler) when I found out I had a loose reel seat, he offered me a full refund or exchange if the problem did not go away. The problem went away. I am not fussing, just telling it like it is. Sorry.... 8-) Edited to add......I am in no way sponsored by Kistler rods, I only wish I was.

73 members online right now as I type this, most I have seen online since last summer. WOO HOO!!!

As much as I cuss and rant about how I hate winter and cold weather, it gives me a nice little 3 month break to clean gear, get the boat in tip top shape and collect my thoughts. I hate to even say this but I may get a little burned out if I didn't have that small break. I guess I would have to move to Florida to find out. But from March to November, it's balls to the wall. 8-)
