Noise....I have a whole different outlook on noise now then I did before, as noise was always a no no. Next time you are out on the water pay attention to how much noise and vibrations are created by nature alone. Could be a beaver, muskrat, otter, ducks, geese, frogs, turtles, kingfishers or even a blue heron. On the waters I fish these rascals make a heck of a lot of disturbance wether it be ducks and geese feeding or preening as they always seem to find the same waters the big girls like. Another thing to consider is how many times have you experienced that big huge splash that creates disturbance when you are fishing on flat water thinking you need to sneak up on your coveted spot. The bottom line for me is I do not worry about disturbances on the water anymore as I once did as "Nature Happens".

I agree as it would create a lot more happy campers.....I am also hoping the 14 will address that issue.

Put me on the list for the 14 Conquest 50 as I will then await for the 50DC..........

First of all they are built like a tank and will be something you hand down to your grandchildren if you have them. One of the big things that gets overlooked is how the reel foot is recessed allowing the Conquest to set down on the rod creating a very comfortable palming of the reel. I have a fair amount of both LP Reels and Round Conquests in all sizes and would not discount the comfort of either one. My suggestion to you is, since you like the 50 sized reel is get a your hands on a Conquest 50 and give it a whack as I do not think you will be disappointed.....

It looks to me like you just put a little extra Hoot in Hootie......Take a picture of it mounted on your SBR as it should look reel sweet and again congratulations.

That has always been my head scratcher with anything that comes from across the Pond as the just get it here faster....Hell I remember getting a JDM reel at 10 in the morning on ThanksGiving Day.

Yes I have and if you go that route try Pond Frog. However I do prefer the Jr as it seems to be more productive as it has a little tighter action and offers many more color choices such as Ama Gaeru (Tree Frog) as well.
