North Shore MA
Wanted to start a thread for those fishing the lakes/ponds on the north shore of Massachusetts. Interested in seeing some big largemouths out of our local fisheries, in addition to what lures have been producing fish and what hasn’t. Tight lines!

Lews reel for swimbaits?
Lews reels have served me well and I’m getting into throwing bigger swimbaits (up to 3-4 ounces). Was wondering if any of you guys use lews for swimbaits and if so which model would be best. Thanks.

swimbait setup
Currently using a Dobyns 704 for small swimbaits (up to 1oz). Looking to move up to bigger baits, any suggestions for an affordable/reliable combo to throw bigger baits like hudds etc. also rod length is a consideration since I usually bank fish. Thanks.

Dobyns fury
Thanks guys I’m gonna get the 6’6

Dobyns fury
I’m going to get a Dobyns fury as an all around rod. I fish from the bank, but I don’t know whether to get the 6’6 or 7 foot . Sometimes fishing in tight spots and I’m not sure if the extra length would be a problem

Getting into swimbaits
Recently been catching them on a 5 inch trout and I’m interested into getting into more swimbaits. I use a medium heavy 6’6 since I bank fish w/ 30 pound braid. Was wondering if anyone knows some good swimbaits I could throw ? Thanks

First kayak

LEWS REEL
Looking for one all around reel to use for all lures and fishing from the bank. Big lews fan so I’m gonna stick with them. Thinking about a tournament pro 6:8:1, any other suggestions? Heard a lot of good things about that real as well as others like the bb1, etc. and I want to make the right call.
