@MN Fisher I’m 100% in your camp. While I will normally bring 4 or 5 rods, there are many times I will only bring two- a MH/F baitcaster and a M/F spinning rig. I can’t fish every bait with just those two, but I can fish a lot.

OMG, I fish a lot of weightless soft plastics. Senkos, Zoom Tricks, Fat IKA’s, Neko Machos, Zoom Mag 2’s amongst others.

I have two. A MH/F and a M/F. As stated, not “top of the line”. But at that price, they are pretty good rods.

I see differences between a 7’0” and a 7’6”. I don’t really see that much of a difference in 2”.

I haven’t been fishing the past few weeks as it’s been just too darned hot. It was this morning as well, but I went anyway. The pond has dropped over a foot since I last fished as we’ve gotten no rain and temps in the 100°s (it’s exactly 100° right now- feels like 108°). Was a pain to launch the boat. Fished until 1100 and caught three bass. One dink on a blue/black laminate Senko WR (no pic lol), one on an X Zone Adrenaline Craw in Summer Craw and the last on a #956 Senko TR that got smashed reeling it back to the boat.

That WO to right by Santander was a moonshot!

I thought I heard NECCO went out of business. They did. In 2018. Another company (Spangler) is now making them. As of 2020. Watch out, boys! I got three years of catching up to do!

@Mobasser We put Zero Bars in the freezer. Great summertime snack! @Catt I used to munch on NECCO Wafers up until they stopped making them. Old-timey wax paper wrapper. I segregated then by color/flavor and ate them in order of least to best-liked flavors. Always ended with black/licorice or orange/orange. Still keep a bag of these on hand in my candy jar at work

I found out the roof should be closed. I’m seriously considering going to a game. I’ve never seen my home team in another ballpark. It’s about time!

I wanted to go fishing today (in Texas). The fish were on top. Surrounded by tartar sauce ?

I live about 45 minutes N of Minute Maid Park. I’d love to go to the O’s-‘Stros game, but don’t know if I can handle the heat!

I have two. I will say that while they are not as smooth as my Daiwa Fuegos or Tatula, they aren’t bad. And they cast as far if not farther. For the $49.99 that I paid for them, they’ve been worth every penny.

It’s been an amazing season so far. Beyond expectations.
