Traveling is one of my greatest joys. it is really something my wife and i share. i am grateful to have it. i love learning other cultures. opens my eyes to how others think and stuff. i like to think it makes me a better person. more rounded. Peru literally made me more rounded. like fat rounded. the food was so good. good thing the 12000+ feet elevation seemed to burn more calories. it seemed like the entire population of Cusco Peru had the cardio capabilities of a timber wolf. they never tire!!!

very little info on that thing. like dimensions. how thick is it? i like gaining a tiny bit of elevation to help my oldass get up onto my feet. i bought the stadium seat pad from Dicks Sporting goods. ideal? nope. but with a couple of poked holes and zipties it is staying put. haha. it is too stiff. and kinda heavy for what it is. like a rubber mat.

i am going to visit Clearlake Saturday. get on the water at crack of dawn. the docks are all choked with weeds. i can pull up my pedal drive and slide over the weeds. i assume there might be open water beneath them. they are grown all the way to the surface and now going sideways. 105 degrees is the high. shade under docks if i can find open water, punch the weeds, fish deep??? i havent been to clearlake in a month. my friend has, hence the weed-report. i'll bring the punch rig for sure. the rest is a big (?) question mark for me. big insulated Camelback bladder stuffed full of ice and water. maybe an ice chest with coconut waters...big floppy hat. the things we do for fun..heheh

I actually think Livescope is a good idea for ice fishing. What else is there to do? Stare at each other and talk about my feelings? Nah, I’d watch the screen. My bud moved to Minnesota and invites me to fly in to try it. I want to experience a real winter one day. I’d try it for sure. Love to catch a burbot or whatever that fish is.

Life changes..yup. no more constant statement ever. in the beginning of work. work dominates. it should. you have the smallest earning potential..and you can get fired Probie!!! eyes open, mouth shut..get the work done! as you gain seniority the scale slides. you have more $$ (if youre doing it right) and more available time. at the end, you should have all the $$ and free time, and unfortuanately, no more energy. life changes.

Bonus points if it doesnt revolve around fishing. a truck overturned locally and spilled a bunch of tomatos. it reminded me of my bucket list. i want to visit Spain and participate in that Tomato fight. do it before i am too old..dont want to break a hip!! my GoPro is water resistant. second, i WILL see the Northern Lights before i shuffle off this mortal coil. i am thinking Finland or something. third..okay fishing. i will fish for tuna at the Ascension Islands. i might even take my brother. my fourth aint happening. i would love to land and take off from an Aircraft Carrier. that ship literally has left port. i am not ever gonna be a navy pilot. hahaha..

yup. i helped a friend. big cat grabbed his crankbait (not a euphemisim or anything). we kept it in the net and just dumped him out of it. it was scary looking.
