  1. to @Sharkey5150 his baits are outrageously over priced. I love his channel his baits are awesome but they are so expensive.
  2. Soft shell turtle, about 15 lbs. Boot, chair, rods and reels. I saved the best for last. I was night fishing with a 1/2 oz spinner bait when I got a thump. I set the hook and reeled in what I thought was a log until the hook fell out. Went back the next day did the same cast caught a dead spike. Looked like it had been dead for 2-3 weeks. (If you don't know what a spike is) We use the term “spike” for any deer at least a year old that has two hardened antlers that do not branch or fork.
  3. in colors white trash, sexy shad, purple smoke, bad shad, and houdini. To @Big Hands
  4. I personally have some favorites. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Reaction_Innovations_Big_Dipper_Swimbaits/descpage-RIBDSB.html https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Reaction_Innovations_Skinny_Dipper_7pk/descpage-RISKD.html https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Reaction_Innovations_Little_Dipper_35_9pk/descpage-RILD.html https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/search-tackle.html?sort=no&start=0&count=30&searchtext=rage+swimmer
  5. Here in Texas we can fish all year round for every legal species. Not that I fish for any species other than bass. Private lakes or clubs may have rules.
  6. I love swim bait fishing and I have a few brands that I use ,but I want to know what swim baits you guys throw.
  7. Set the hook really good. Keep pressure on the fish. When you start to feel or see it coming to the surface, put your rod tip down and keep pressure on the fish.
  8. @earthworm77 I am a 13 year old angler competing in a tournament series called DETX. I was wondering if I could send this to Reaction Innovations and if you could give some tips on what to improve in this letter. Dear Mr. Andre Moore, My name is Benjamin , age 13. I am a fisherman that has bought many of your lures and loves to fish them. I have recently signed up to be on a school fishing team and I was wondering if you would consider sponsoring us. I know that you probably have way better people to sponsor and you don’t even know if we are a good high school team. My school and my team fish the DETX series on Lake Sam Rayburn. This tournament is once a month launched at Jackson Hill Marina. This is an all high school tournament that my team and school has done well in. My favorite lure you make is definitely a sweet beaver 4.20 in color california 420 and houdini. My second favorite is the skinny dipper in color sexy shad, bad shad green, pearl blue shad, white trash, houdini, sungill, purple smoke, and impact bluegill. I have at least 2 bags of each of those colors. I have yet to try the spicy beaver but it looks like I might use it every day on the water. I am some day hoping to go pro but I need some help getting there. I would love to wear the Reaction Innovations name because it is by far my favorite brand of lures. I understand that you can sponsor pros with a great fishing record but I assure you I would do my best to promote your brand. Thank you for your time and have a great day. Sincerely, Benjamin last name not included in post for safety
  9. I've got an old reel that I think is a quantum iron in 5:1 and I use it for frog fishing.
  10. I disagree. I would go with the 6.3:1 because you can still slow roll things easily and I have been able to speed up my retrieve with it. Why would you need anything to go faster than a 6.3:1?
  11. I have seen bass with there fry, but no matter what I throw, they won't bite. So far wacky worm, 5" swim bait, and texas rigged trick worm, aren't working.
  12. I know that, I have an account for this year already set up.
  13. Thanks for the heads up.
  14. I will join the group.
  15. Thanks for the idea I will use my john boat or a kayak. I have been fishing for about 10 years now and I am just looking for new stuff to try. I will be sure to do that next time I'm on the water. Thank you sir.
  16. My high school stared a team last year in the DETX series. We have only local sponsors though. My second tournament and time on Sam Rayburn me and my partner got fourth place. We are Cooper And Benjamin of Latexo. http://nebula.wsimg.com/d42db61652438fb3df714e0e6c7a2026?AccessKeyId=980EB3A6F4EBCF0B3478&disposition=0&alloworigin=1 This is the championship qualifiers list
  17. I'm young so I stand. I also find it easier to control my casts when I'm standing.
  18. In my opinion a cork split grip is the way to go. They are very comfortable and fit very well in my hand. Plus they just look cool.
  19. Listen guys I was just asking. I'm not a mooch. I'm a teenager wanting to try new lures and I was asking about online giveaways.
  20. So nobody can name any?
  21. I ma just tying to get quality free lures

  23. Does any one know where I can sign up for lure give away for free.
  24. I would use a t rig most likely, but it depends on vegetation and forge and structure.
