Thank you to everyone who messaged me and reminded me to get this years thread going. I'm glad that we've got a community here that so many people enjoy playing along for fun.

For anyone playing along this year, I highly recommend subscribing to this thread so that you are reminded when an event. There's nothing worse than having a great season and then forgetting to set a roster before an event.

Pumped!! Didn’t do too great last year but I started getting the hang of it towards the end of the season. I think I finished something like 35th in our group. 

I go up and down -- bad year, then a good year, then a bad year....I'm due for a good one!

I'll give it a shot.

Never done fantasy before! Not even for football, definitely gonna check this out!
 

Im in . Had my team picked a week ago . Subject to change but here goes .

Couple popular picks - but my 'A' list...had to go with the 'home town' boy.

I finished last in my fantasy football league this year, so there's nowhere to go but up for me here. Count me in.

I am back and currently ranked number 1 in the BR division (at least on my phone). Bet ya that only lasts for one tournament ?

I have been following MLF much more closely in recent years,  so there are a lot of names in BASS that are completely foreign to me, but I will give it a shot if anybody is welcome to join.

Go for it - I only know a few names myself...but I'm giving it the old college try.

The first year I participated I didnt know a lot of the anglers and picked the legends of the sport . That was a poor strategy. I  enjoy playing and now am  familiar with the anglers . Still suck at it .

I thought Jacob Powroznik left MLF to go back to BASS also?

Maybe he didn't qualify?  I haven't been following MLF closely, but I seem to remember he was doing pretty well there.

He was doing very well in MLF.  I was surprised he chose to leave, but then was even more surprised that he is not on the BASS roster, meaning he left without securing another top series to fish in??
