gauges you wanna have are 1 water pressure 2 tachometer 3 tilt trim 4fuel gauge 5battery meter nice but optional all others are must haves you do not need a speedo if you have to make room for one of these take out the speedo

gamefish smallmouth bass or wipers (they hit lures like a freight train) trash fish carp ive never caught a walleye that had 1 ounce of fight they are all very lathargic here just swim right to the boat beggin to be eaten ;D

Exactly, we need to look at ourselves and how we handle situations before pointing fingers at others. probably cause the thread was titled water and jet skiers, i guess he shoulda titled it waterskiers ,jetskiers, guy in the blueboat, lady with the bassboat who lives down the road. If someone wants to complain about jetskiers and waterskiers they have that right . If you want us to complain about ourselves then start that thread and we will do it. But this thread having three pages already shows there is a common interest in this situation

a waterpressure gauge and a tachometer are the most important gauges on your boat burley you need to fix yours i wouldnt run mine without it. you want water running thru and cooling everything, if not you could burn up your impeller and then that can lead to all kinds of problems ,some with the powerhead i was told, i beleive different motors will give different readings. on my opti it reads around 5 psi when at idle and up to 20 psi when wot. dont forget its a very important peice of the puzzle you wanna see water peeing out the motor.

yes its ok to do it fair game, but i think your asking this because youve heard something about this topic before. my guess is youve heard about tournament situations or honeyholes people have personally shown you. in either case i dont fish them tourney situation boater takes you to a spot and it pans out,the right thing to do is not take another boater there during the same tourney. situation number two i take you to a lake a fairly large lake and i show you a spot and technique and i ask you to leave this spot alone as i will be fishing it soon for a tourney. right thing to do is leave it alone cause were freinds and we respect each other. but if your on a lake and see someone fishing offshore why wouldnt it be ok to go there when they leave? it dont matter who put it there cause my depthfinder doesnt show the property of so and so tag on it.

your gonna get arguements for both sides as you did with the what boat question, its your boat sooner or later your gonna have to make the decision, while its fine and dandy to ask what motor, what boat, etc. your just gonna get answers for both and it wont help any, cause im gonna say motorguide ive had one for years and no problems. oh and when you ask what electronics im gonna say garmin. ive loved mine since day one

why try and put up with the stuff that is so obviously wrong, if im fishing and another boat comes on top of me i will tell them politley to go f themselves. if that dont work well then 2 can play this game. if someone is doing something that i dont like ill just move but if it comes down to them being on top of me or crowding my space its on

the only time i peg my weight is when im fishing really thick weeds and the weight keeps me from getting the bait to the bottom,then ill peg it to create a better entry to the weeds

theres a reason bullet weights come more than one to a pack, use another weight
