  1. Does anyone use snap swivels to attach lures to line? Currently I use a light grayish bluish braid that is not very visible (to me) with a clear fluorocarbon leader. I was thinking of changing the braid color to a brighter color, like yellow, that I can see better. Does that make a difference? How about the leader color if I changed it to a color other than clear?
  2. You may be related to me. That sounds exactly like something I would do. Lost a cellphone last year that popped off my belt into the lake. ?
  3. Thanks. That's what I was worried about. I would rather lose a bass than kill one.
  4. Does anyone use trailer hooks? I was going to try them on a chatterbait, but I am afraid the bass might take the trailer hook down in the throat. Can anyone give me some insight on whether to use the trailer hooks, with what kind of a set up, etc.?
  5. Where did you fish, i.e., which lake?
  6. In Tennessee Good Friday is a state holiday by state law.
  7. Watauga is really deep, even 5' from the shore. There are probably primeval species living in the bottom.
  8. Very, very helpful.
  9. Does anyone in the East Tennessee area know when TVA will begin raising the lake levels tl summer level?
  10. It was great to find the Bass Resources forums! I plan to spend a lot of time on the forums. I have learned a lot already and it's just my first day here.
  11. My father quoted me the same saying.
  12. Most fishing tackle, lures, and line are meant to catch fishermen rather than fish.
  13. I bet I am worse than you. I can get a backlash trying to spool line.
  14. Thank you! I use spinning gear most of the time. the guides on my baitcasting ro are large enough for the double uni to go through. Nevertheless, if the fg knot is smaller, I may try to learn how to tie it.
  15. Which is better for joining fluorocarbon to braid? I use the double uni, the FG looks very complicated.
