fishing man

i used my chatterbaits for the first time today and i would have to say i really like them, they produce a lot of vibration and i used mine many ways over a rip rap, swimming it, hopping it, slow rolling it, letting it drop onto the structure so the blade barely moved. the only things i don't like about them is that they are really tiering on the rod i was using them with, and it seems to have a lot of lift especially on fast retrieves, does anyone know how to fix or make these two problems better?

i definelty will be videoing my videos this year. just got a new camera just for it and cant wait. now i just need to find a way to video myself catching fish, and also fishing

ok so i have my first ever bass tournament and i am gonna be fishing the BFL at Indian lake. but i have a couple questions. when i go do i like need to bring anything like PFD, weigh in bags, etc? i was watching a tournament and i got to thinking and of course i don't want to screw up my first tournament, and I'm nervous as it is about it. so any help will be really appreciated.

i have a major problem right now, i am stuck on shore for a wile (boat broke) and i cant figure out the water temperature. does anyone have any tricks or tips on how i can figure it out? i cant spend to much money right now so a portable depth finder is out, but i was thinking would i beable to use one of those hand held infared thermometers? thanks for any help

omg i cant stand that stuff, i have actually freaked out on people when i see them being cruel to animals for no reason. like i saw this one kid that i hated catch a channel cat shoot it down the throat with a airsoft gun and all his buddies and him laughed when they finnally released it, i went over there and threatened them i would shoot them with my airsoft guns. god i hate that

you know when you are addicted to bass fishing when you are sixteen and have hormones, but think about fishing more than sex or girls. you will only go out with girls who like to fish your first date was on a lake fishing, and wile she was trying to be romantic and stuff all you want to do is fish. people in school will come up to you and ask you to help them with deciding a reel, were to fish, help them cast a baitcaster, etc if in the spring summer and fall you rarely have a girl friend because you are focused to much on fishing get in trouble in math class because you were reading bass master when your suposed to be doing math. and the sad thing is all those are about me and what i have done.

ok so the lakes just unfroze (and i have been waiting for it) about 3 days ago, and every day i am out fishing, but it seems like it is a ghost town, i cant get a hit for anything, i have been using jigs, shaky heads, carolina rigs, and even tried some rattle traps (i heard the tight wobble will work). i have been mainly fishing the deepest part of the lake, can anyone help me with winter fishing, i am not good at it. thanks, fishingman

there is only one way to know if there are bass in there, go out and fish it.

spinnerbaits i use most the time but there are allways the time when i will use buzz. i will use spinnerbaits mainly in gin clear to muddy, anytime of year, except for when there is ice on the water. and just experiment with retrives, colors, blades, etc. now buzz baits i will use in stained water mostley. and mostly in the morning when the top bite is the best, unsless it is an overcast day. hope this helps

there are a couple strange things i have caught like a GIANT flat head while fishing for largemouths with a jerkbait, pretty much a tree, and a shoe.

the main lines i like is suffix elite, and Berkley vanish.

i use suffix braid EVERYWHERE. i just tie it straght to the lure, i mainly use braid with crank biats, spinner baits, and jigs when flippin. the reason i use it with cranks and spinner baits is that i think i get more feel of the bottom and everything i hit.

now i have done that before, and employee asked me if wanted a job there after i helped the guy out.

the last bass i caught would be in late november. i cant wait for spring

yes the quality of the baitcaster matures, i use to use a cheap reel thinking it didnt make a diffrence but once i bought my diawa megaforce i cant use the cheap ones EVER AGAIN. of corse now i have 6 expensive rods and reels

loves to fish, but just not as good as you so you allways out fish him, but the one time he out fishes you, you never hear the end of it. lol

see i know there are bass in the ponds because i allways fish for them and catch them on like crankbaits, tubes, and jerkbaits. and i do catch catfish all the time in the ponds.

they are very small ponds all conected to each other from small tunnels, but there are no streams running into the ponds.
