Hey guys by the way this is what i have caught the majority of my fish on this year it had a white feather at the bottom where the red is but that came off tonight at the wilton reservoir, and 1 of the 3 hooks in the back broke off too somehow, a few small bass at the reservoir tonight but i wasn't there for very long 40 mins tops.

Hey guys got out to the wilton reservoir yesterday from about 2 to 3 30 ish, got 3 fish first one hit pretty hard and was decent size the others were smaller but still feels good to catch em. All caught on topwater, saw a pretty big snake slither right up to me in the water got a pic of him too.

Hell yeah theres some celtics fans around here lol. Ya we gotta win raod game to move on, which we haven't been able to do in the playoffs yet but we can definately do it we just have to play smarter. Ray Allen finally started playing like he should last game, hopefully tonights game will go better for us. Go Celtics!!!!!!!

Hey guys got out to the Wilton Reservoir for a little less than an hour thursday before it started to rain got a small largemouth on topwater. Went to sunset lake today for about 3 hrs and caught a small largemouth and a good size pickeral, both on topwater. Forgot the anchor so the majority of the time fishing today was paddling back to a certain area as the wind kept blowing us to shore. Those fish are the first ones i've ever caught on topwater, up until this past week i had never had any luck on topwater lures before, now i'll be trying them with a little more confidence lol. So hows it going out there for you guys??? Whats working for the bigger fish, all im getting are small ones. Heres a pic of the pickeral from today, look under the eye it had a black stripe on both sides under the eye kinda weird???

hey guys got out last night after the celtics barely finished off the cavs, there was still some daylight, well not the best night of fishing but we did come within about 35 yards of a cow moose. The place we were fishing is down in a valley i guess you could call it, not a very big place you can walk all around it and we were fishing from shore i heard something walking in the woods look up to see a cow moose standing still looking at me then he took off up a hill i than looked over to my buddy on the otherside of the pond and he starts walking back to us so we meet him halfway and he starts saying dude you'll never guess what i just saw lol... let me guess a moose... apparently when it ran from where i was it ran over the hill and crossed the pond in a shallow section, started walking towards my other friend, than when it saw him, it booked it in the woods. pretty interesting sight. heres a pic of one of the only fish

Ya she was. i'll get her again though, released unharmed, its a small pond not fished heavily at all, kinda hidden luckily, next time i'll have the scale ready lol.

hey guys finally got out on the water saturday only 2 fish, slow day overall but caught my first LM's for the year so not bad i guess. Forgot the digital camera so just camera phone quality and forgot the scale today woulda like too weigh the 2nd fish not a pig but a decent fish. Heres the pics:

Hey guys i just bought a 10' flatbottom jon boat last week and was wondering do i have to register the boat? Would i have to register it if i use a trolling motor on it? what are the rules about that? If anyone knows plz let me no, and where would i go to register it if i had to? Thanks guys, Dave

Good to hear u guys are getting out there again supposed to be 70s by the end of the week still some of the local ponds/lakes around here are ice but not for long. What are you guys using this early to catch bass i've never really been able to get bit this early in the year, and suggestions, lures, where to fish...? thanks

Thanks not to sure on what color to paint it yet. My friend has a few trolling motors so it'll be electric. Heres some more pics, haven't quite cleaned it up yet but probably tomorrow, pretty good upgrade from a cheap inflatable boat me and my friend have been using the past 2 years.

Well i finally got a jon boat its a 10' flat bottom. I got it today for 200. I am going to get 2 swivel seats for it, fishfinder, and hopefully a paintjob before it hits the water this year. With next weeks temps in the high 60's for the majority of the week it shouldn't be long before the ice is gone from the lakes/ponds. The pic i have now is just from my cell phone as i didn't have time to get the digital out and load them on the computer before work but i will post better pictures tomorrow.

just got the call that the boat sold last night > but i am looking on craigslist everyday so i will have one before the season starts

Doesn't come with a motor but my friend has two trolling motors we could use, sounds like a good idea i'll try it out without gear for a while like u said just incase we tip it. thanks and i'll post pics tomorrow if its still available -Dave

And its gotta be alot better than what i use now, my buddy has a cheap inflatable boat we've been using for the past 2 years, not a bad rig for cheap but i think this should be a nice upgrade

Hey guys haven't been on in a while i am going to look at a 10' flat bottom aluminum boat tomorrow its only $100 it could use some paint but thats about it i will be getting as long as its still available tomorrow. Can u put swivel seats in those it has 3 bench seats and how hard is it to do if u can because i would definately be interested if so. I'll let u no if i get it tomorrow and post pics of it
