Orange Muck From Pipes?
If surrounding lakes are clear and this one isn't and the discharge from the pipe is orange, the EPA or a similar agency should be notified.

Anyone else think Google sucks today
What I don't like about Google is if I'm searching for a product, Amazon floods the first page and more. I want more choices.

Paris Olympics
All the events catch my interest. I used to be a casual runner doing 10K runs, so I can appreciate what the athletes are going though even though I was just a slow poke in comparison. Of course women's beach volleyball is quite "interesting" too.

The decline of our lakes.
When I was kid the U.S. population was 1/2 of what it is now and continues to rise. All those people have to go somewhere in the country and do stuff which affects the environment, not only our lakes and rivers but everything. Think about all those extra toilet flushes for starters.

Heat Wave Coming
It's not just the heat but the humidity too. I'm getting a little used to it after a couple of days. I've been avoiding fishing but will go today from the shore and in the shade and hope for a breeze.

Drilling Into Fiberglass
To prevent splintering you could put duct tape over the spot and drill through that.

June 6 1944
Let's not forget the Battle of Midway also in June on the 4th to the 7th of 1942. I worked with a guy a long time age who was on one of the carriers as a radioman. They were all scared he said. Who could blame them. It's a heroic undertaking now that it's over, but then the outcome was up in the air.

The bad parts of where you fish
The nearby state park lake I fish gets algae blooms in the summer and weekend warriors, so it's early season and weekday fishing for me.

Suggested Gasoline To Use?
If you have a history of problem free operation with what youv'e been using, stick with it.

Nightcrawler hook for river bobber fishing?
Casting jigs over and over gets tiresome and I'm leaning more and more toward bobber and crawler for the river. I'll try hellgrammite and crayfish too. In the right place, you can let it drift into a hole that might have been tough to cast to.

Side loaders for car topping
If you can drive into your garage with the kayak still sitting on top, you can have a set of 4 ropes hanging from the rafters with "S" hooks to hang the kayak in the garage upside down and just lower it for the next trip. That's what I did years ago with a 12' boat.

Rebel Crawfish Cranks
I have a couple and they keep company with the other lures I seldom use although I should. I hear they work better with trebles attached though.😉

Unfortunate 2-stroke failure.
The engine may have seized from the heat generated by all that un-lubed friction. Once it cooled and had the right oil and gas mix, the engine itself may have survived.

Changed my oil, surprised oil was so clean.
Being retired, I don't drive much, so I let the dealer deal with all maintenance done once a year.

Ticks in my bed, tore bed apart went back to sleep.
When walking through the woods I use a walking stick to beat the brush before I pass through to get any ticks off their game. Every few yards, I stop and check myself out and then continue on.
