Missile baits came out with a Green Pumpkin Delite Spunk Shad that matches Jackhammer's BHite Delite so perfectly. It's a chartruese type color with added silver shimmy. Coolest green pumpkin outshoot I've seen.

They should for the cost, but most of the stuff I've bought from them has been worth every penny. New vs. old 110jr+1 in GG Threadfin. Old one has caught 125+ fish since mid December, including a solid 7.2. If I were to amortize the cost on that particular bait based on fish caught, it would be one of the cheapest baits in the box. I'm not so much a MB fanboy as I am a JDM fanboy I think. I lose all rational when it comes to JDM baits. I'm responsible for the most part until I see pretty Japanese baits ?

That was a big turning point for me over the last week, I realized I had the ability to chunk a 7.5" Swimbait for 5hrs, whereas I can't flip or drag a ned for 5hrs. Heck I'm already too invested to turn back lol, with the rod and reel and now a box full of big baits, I'm into big swimbaits/a-rigs more than anything else since starting back. I knew I was in trouble a few days ago when I started thinking I needed a second big bait rod/reel ?

As long as I've been in the sport a Shimano Stadic has been the easy button. I suspect you have many high end spinning reels just based on the flee market posts.....not to long ago I remember you claiming a great deal on a JDM 19 Certate ?

Haha you real monkies in here are killing me ? I've been wanting one of those rats for sure. Really like the idea of the impregnated resin on those PB Rats. I can feel myself getting sucked down the Big Bait hole, it's not even for the original reason I got into them for. I got into it wanting baits to target the biggest fish in my lake, then when I saw how the fish react to them it changed. There is a whole novelty to catching fish on big crazy baits. It's just a totally unique form of Bass fishing that happens to yield larger than average catches I'm finding. Hasn't caught me any giants yet but 50% of the fish I catch are 3-5lbs. Outside of a fullsize chatterbait, I can't think of another bait that does that for me.

I never bought a Spinning reel over $200 before I bought a JDM 19 Certate 3000CXH. It's not as expensive as those you listed, but I'd personally consider it at the high end price point of JDM reels. The advantages will be unique to every reel, and relative to how much you fish, and what your previous reel experience has been. All I can say is that I won't fish cheap spinning reels after getting the Certate. The drag, weight, materials, actually made in Japan....the spool, the better line cap vs USDM model. The level of refinement on the higher end spinning reels is exceptional. All the ones actually made in Japan. Just my 2cents, and I'm a small spender haha

Lol exactly, imagine thinking Degrom or Verlander have the same tight strikezone as a 23yr old just coming up. The adjustment of balls and strikes depending on how popular the pitcher or hitter is drives me insane.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Cover is brushpiles, laydowns, standing timber, grass, stumps, etc. Structure is ledges, bluff walls, lake points, secondary points, creek channels, etc.

Wish it was a little bigger as I'm becoming more and more addicted to big baits, but I'm looking forward to the strikes for sure! Awesome stuff by the way, big fan of that Invisx on my spinning setups. Just so manageable. I just watched a nice video on it, and the guy was saying he likes it just as much if not more in diving mode. TW didn't even have them because I always go there to read reviews lol.

Bad calls ruin games full stop. That ump should never call a T Ball game again. We live in a world where the watcher has the tech on the screen to see a non biased K zone, I can't wait until balls and strikes umpires are eliminated. I can't tell you how many games they've ruined I've watched over the years. Exactly, and this happens shockingly in MLB. The umps have histories and egos with batters. Same with pitchers, you see the young guys in the bigs act animated when the ump gets a pitch horribly wrong, and then it only gets worse from there for them.

This seems more like an Alabama or Florida Man thing ?

Back to back freezing nights, where was this and the next week of temps last month ? It's in the low 40s, nice amount of wind, blue bird skies, major post frontal.....I wussed out and am not going today ?

I'm really stoked to see your results on this bait! I'm just excited to see your reports again, see your Spartan adventures in Bass fishing ? Your type of fishing, and the fish you are tapping into are really exciting to me, I think you are going to catch some freaks this year. Knowing you are gonna throw a big fish bait like this one in that place you might camp out is the stuff that fuels bed time dreams. I'm going to keep saying it until it happens, but that PB is going to change fast on your avatar.

Caught 3 and lost a toad on the Berkeley Slobberknocker. Tough fishing continues and looks to get a bit worse over the next few days with a few nights with freezing temps. Nice 4+ came off the Shimano swimbait, then jerked the other two with a 110jr +1. Met a new friend way offshore, so I scooped it up and put it in the middle of emerging weeds. They suck as adults, but as babies they are too cute.

Bob is indeed living the dream, but as you said it took a lot of hard work I'd imagine getting there and takes a lot of hard work to stay there. The Billie Goat pics crack me up every time he posts them, if those things don't make you smile, something is broken inside.
