  1. You guys have some nice hazards at your course there... one word of advice, if the bass start to reject most of the lures and presentations you used to catch them with, give the ponds a break. I single-handedly ruined every pond at Windermere Club and had to take a break for a few months before the bite was red hot again. Don't let it get to the point where the only thing they will hit is a lure they have never seen. But golf course ponds are so much fun to fish, test lures, and its extremely easy to catch some nice fish. I enjoy your posts. Keep it up fellas!
  2. Bassin Blvd thats looks like an Abu that was my first baitcaster probably 5 years ago. I'm diggin it! way to stay true to the brand! Abu rocks man
  3. those look way healthier than the bass from my GC pond. Nice job
  4. I'll trade you.. its -1 and snowing like crazy here in Michigan. We now have recieved almost 8 feet of snow this season with 2 months of snow left to go We are heading down to Clearwater in May and I am hoping to take a rental car and find a pond or two I can stop at to catch a descent size bass. Any suggestions??? The best tool for finding some ponds is google maps, in Florida basically every pond holds bass. Even small rectangle retention ponds, I have caught monsters out of just random retention ponds and bodies of water that the non fisher would be amazed to know what a good fishery lies within. Just find a parking lot with a good sized retention pond, and onlookers will be amazed when they see you catch a 4 pound bass ;D
  5. how about both if he likes bass fishing? And booking an offshore trip is big $$$$$$
  6. I have heard good things about if from a friend who's grandpa lives there. Let me know how it is. Do they have a public ramp or and bank fishing areas?
  7. I always figure when bank fishing public waters, give someone as much space as possible because you are limited enough when on the bank, and avoiding another angler to the left or right of you is yet another limitation, an may hurt both of your odds (depending on your skills of course )
  8. that will be an amazing big fish catcher fished weightless like a senko
  9. roughly ten pound speckled trout
  10. has anyone fished this new prop bait? If so what sets it apart from any other prop bait? If I hear some good stuff about it from you guys it will definitely be in my tackle box. Thanks in advance, I trust this sites members opinions and reviews more than bassmasters, espn, and everything else. Cheers fellas.
  11. BPS baits action is a lot worse. BUT, their lipless crank and their Rick Clunn 2.5 knock of are stellar, just switch the hooks.
  12. I have single handedly put serious fishing pressure on several golf course ponds, it got to the point where my success would depend on if the lure was some offbeat thing they had never seen before.
  13. ? come on! let's go!
  14. I am the anti-king shad in the flesh
  15. just wondering what are the bass feeding on to get so big in stick marsh? tilapia or something?
  16. Turkey Lake is a place that fishes pretty good from what I have heard and they rent boats there. x2 great lake, have fished it countless times... PS 250$ FOR THREE HOURS IS CHEAPER THAN MOST LAKE TOHO, ST JOHNS, HARIS CHAIN, AND OKEECHOBEE GUIDES WITH COST FOR SHINERS... :
  17. hey this is an interesting post because my aunt who I am really close with is the GM of yacht and beach club, which is next door and almost identical. If you rent one of those boats and try to fish you will be stopped, and unfortunately the lake those resorts are on are part of the epcot lake system, and have no access to seven seas lagoon and bay lake system, so the fishing is not as good as seven seas lagoon and bay lake system. I have fished disney three times and use the guides out of the contemporary resort, the guides are good, and let me give you another word of advice, it's walt disney world, amazing bass fishery, use the shiners and forget lures. It's the only time I will use shiners because the quality of the fish is amazing. If you fish the shiners, I guarantee you three four pounders and up. You will have a great time, enjoy yourself. Another word, they are sponsored by lucky craft so if you fish artificials the lures and selection is great. Have fun, I was just there December 23
