that must have been a while ago because haven't caught one canal bass on a senko this year... I don't even know if there are that many bass in there anymore

Well earlier today I went out to my canal, and not to my surprise I pulled a couple juvie snooks out of the side the "waterfall" pours into. Caught a small lmb on the other side. All on a pointer. Are there no quality fish anymore in the canals? I think the peons of south florida are keeping everything... sure makes fishing a lot of fun.

I will definitely try this waterfall near me again, I'm sure that will be a prime area. Even though I fished it a couple times last year and caught nothing. I need to decide what to throw in that kind of current. Heard there are some snook there as well, but I need to catch me a bass out of the canals because I see some people having success, and I'm jealous--maybe I should just buy some shiners...

I fish some lakes that are really filled with eelgrass & hydrilla, and I will fish a lipless crank or a pointer all the time. Just keep trying. Oh and look for REALLY "FRESH" HYDRILLA Im talking bright green healthy hydrilla, and fish near it. run that rattletrap over it. I promise you thit it will produce #'s and it's been working for me all spring and now
