  2. there you go avid, and on a popper
  3. Yo dave that line looks really dark, almost braid dark
  4. Great fishing
  5. any ideas on when it will hit the market?... or still a lot more testing to do?
  6. i think your best bet is shiners. they are cheaper, legal, and probably better bait than goldfish
  7. Those people will be the first to come out back and tell you that you can't fish their dock, but let me assure you they would let their dog poop in someone's yard and be offended if you told them to get off your property.
  8. good thing that skier was alright or those people would have probably sued you broke
  9. I used to hook shiners through the lips, then I went out with this guide who hooked them like your saying Paul does I find and the hook-sets are defiantly better for C&R when hooked Paul's way.
  10. No, no they're not. Smart, yep. athletes, no. x2 The only nature to fishing would be the act of havesting fish as a food source. Flipping your evo jig with your new quantum baitcaster hasn't been around long enough to be programmed in your DNA (aka evolve). It's possible that the mystery and excitement of catching a fish is something that can be traced to early humans.
  11. Wow looks like a great place. Oh yeah, don't forget to give your wife some attention!
  12. Thats on MeanBearPig
  13. Thats great news for you all!
  14. wow good job
  15. i will watch it, but i find he is a pretty bad fisherman. he fishes like i did when i was about 13 years old.
  16. I haven't fished it in over a year but turkey lake has a lot of laydowns. If you have good electronics you can fish Conway... If you can locate the brush piles you will be set--they are excellent producers. when it comes to some serious wood fishing, I think you are out of luck
  17. thats a creative thought. I would put some plastics in a mixture of grounds and water and leave it for months. if you are from the north you should store some all next winter
  18. very nice, keep it up before the mosquitoes get bad.
  19. lots of nice football shaped bass... those tend to fight hard! great job.
  20. Ok I will HAVE to buy some live bait. My friend called me today and said last night he fished the light at the bridge on Camino in Boca and caught a nice jack, and he saw some snook but caught none. I really need to try throwing a nice shrimp right at that spot. Last time I fished that spot a pelican dove right in the "light up" water under the light, and I lost all confidence in that spot after that happened
  21. Hi please forgive my failed adventure; I am not constantly staying in South Florida anymore. BUT, I am here all this week and I have a new inshore baitcaster spooled with braid, and ande 30 pound monofilament leader; and I do not have a boat. SO, my question is where in the Boca, Delray, or Deerfield area can I find a good day spot on the shore for snook, and a good nightspot on the shore with a light in cast-able distance? Thank you for your help, and once again, sorry about the failed trip idea.
  22. I defiantly need to quit this idea. something has happened and im only spending half of my time in boca Sorry
  23. I admittedly hate jigs but can tell you that it doesn't make no difference whether craws are present or not. Lures that mimic or look like craws will work anywhere. If you threw a live one in a likely spot I bet it doesn't last long either ;D In other words if you are having problems nailing them on worms, senkos, flukes then give the craw a definite go and watch what happens. x2
