  1. STUART RULES check out my post about stewart http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1216674437
  2. Totally agree. I love catching bass, etc, but pound for pound, carp are one of the best fighters out there. I've never understood why they get the reputation they do. I've never caught one on a fly rod before though -- I bet that's a blast! : sound's like you need to catch some healthier bass
  3. those are cool fish, but don't look anything like a snook
  4. that is way more that I would have guessed
  5. SK king shad, broke at the hinge on first fish
  6. My buddy has had my boga in his boat for at least a year. Thanks for reminding me I'm going to go make a phone call...
  7. nice fish... I too have not caught much on bluegill style swimbaits
  8. that is a nice fish
  9. It is way more corrosion resistant than I thought it would be. It also has a magnetic brake if you take off the side plate. I like it a lot. Plus it is a bargain.
  10. I know all about the closed snook season, but I always release snook anyways because they remind me too much of bass. I went online to see about eating the little 'cuda but your not supposed to eat them because of ciguatera poisoning.
  11. Not too much bass fishing at the place I was staying at in Stuart, FL. Diawa Inshore+Heavy Bionic Blade+One Sick Lure=A bunch of different fish that I wasn't expecting to catch!!! One of at least 15 of these juvenile barracuda's I caught... some were strong fighters. Pulled in right on the beach Me with the biggest of 4 Spanish Mackerel I caught, and had for dinner. Fought really hard, called that it was a big snook. Caught right on the beach. One of a few small snooks (fight extremely hard) I caught off the shore at the ICW The ONLY lure I used the whole trip. Yo-zuri Mag Minnow (beat up by toothy fish)
  12. ...and the only prescription is hahahahahaha any song with a lot of cowbell is the cure... and the best to dance to
  13. Every time I fish at the place where I caught my PB I always think I'm going to catch her again... Until I get the dreadful thought that someone else has also caught her since then, and she is now hanging over their fireplace.
  14. cool video. makes me want to go fishing right now badly
  15. T-rig you killed it on that little wake bait!
  16. All those boats stayed to weigh in because they all figured that everyone else would either leave or not catch anything. I think thunderstorms like that here in Florida give a lot of people the idea that they think they are going to win.
  17. All those big fish you caught on a new moon... there may be something to that. Maybe they are less active on a new moon, so a deadly slow lure like a senko is the best... just an idea. That is a nice fish you got there
  18. welcome buddy, i'm actually in Stuart right now!
  19. ok great because at the place i'm staying at the person who was here before me left sardines and ballyhoos in the freezer
  20. Are there any dead baits that will work? P.S. I'm out there looking for a good fight and a good picture, not dinner. Thanks guys
  21. I am staying around baker island (baker point), the mariot golf course. I have no boat, and want to know the techniques for catching some big fish right off the beach. Please help me out!! Thanks in advance
  22. How many feet of water were you fishing in, and how deep does that slammer dive? What kind of retrieve were you using? Thanks in advance LBH!!
  23. I think an awesome lure would be a senko with the exact same kind of legs as the zoom 6 inch lizard.
