Horrible out in south florida today, was nice for about an hour, storms came in, nice about 15mins....another storm came in. I made a run for it after a couple of hours with no storm.....got my fish of the day for 7/9. 35 days in a row. Then, had to run I disagree home when the rain and lightning came. First time I used this KVD 1.5 Crank bait.....

Streak continues for Sat 7/8/. Rain let up for a bit and again, the mosquitoes were out for BLOOD! Sounded like little helicopters flying around. Dinks again, but the bigger one did put up a fight....first 2 were on Carolina rig and the 3rd was on a speed worm.

Well, fell a sleep when I came home, but got 15mins to go out and try for today (Friday 7/7) fish. Got it on a carolina rig. STREAK CONTINUES!

Go streak GOOOOO!! 31 (40 missing 1 day) days of fishing!! A fish every day of summer..... 2 on Zoom Speed worms (6" Junebug) and 1 on a wacky rig. First wacky rig fish in these ponds. Was very exciting to get them to bite this.

Today is day 30 (starting from June 5th) in a row, I missed 1 day when I was at Epcot. If I get a mulligan for that, the first day was May 25th, which would be 39 days, minus 1 day for Epcot.

Streak goes on!!! Lets go!!!! Having some friends for a BBQ and took a buddy down to the pond to get my fish of the day. Took about 15mins for him to hit my popper (Mirrolure walker). However, it came out of the water like a great white hitting a seal.

Got a chance to fish for about an hour, got 4....3 on the Carolina rig (zoom 6" lizard) and 1 on the drop shot (Zoom trick worm). Really liking the carolina rig and right now. Getting that bait down deep is really doing the trick. They have moved deep for sure. Was really raining all day, so wet and nasty out. No lighting though, so that was a go for me haha. I threw a zoom speed worm, Rat-L-Trap, whopper plopper 75, a few casts with a buzzbait....nothing else was hit.

Well, storm lasted until 1230, but got out right after to play with the carolina rig again. Got 2, one being 2lbs 13oz. I am having some fun with this rig and zoom lizard. Streak continues....these are for Monday 7/3.

Well, could only get a few casts in before the lightning struck about 2 miles and right in my line of sight...going to go back out...but caught a bass.....a coughpeakcockcough bass, its still a bass......well, sorta.....close enough....STREAK DOES GO ON, come on thunder storm, go AWAY! Pardon the pic, when the light struck, it scared both me and the fish. I wanted to get the hell out of dodge so I didn't want to snap another and be that guy that dies snapping a pic with a 2lbs peacock. Btw, on a Booyah One knocker.

How about a chunk Tilapia? Haha. Off an one knocker.

Right? At first, when I saw him....I thought to myself, man this guy looks like Roland Martin. My buddy didn't believe me at first. However, after he broke off 3 swimming jigs (big drop off at the spillway. I watched 3 people lose 5 baits in like 15mins, however, TONS OF BITES). So my buddy went back to the boat to grab some more stuff and comes back..."You're right, it is Roland Martin, his boat is beached next to us". I KNEW IT!! Him and Scott were really nice and joked around a bit. Scott was the one that snapped the pic BTW. I still can't believe it. Made it an incredible day, even if I didnt get that 6lbs'er.

THE STREAK GOES ON!!!!! and the streak goesssss onnnnn! Well, was a great day at Headwaters. We got about 20-25 fish total. Biggest 3 was 5lbs 14oz, 3lbs 7oz and 3lbs 1oz. A bunch of 2-2.5 as well. Even got a 4.5lbs Tilapia. However, the best part of the trip was getting to snap a pic of myself and Roland Martin at the spillway. I have watched his shows on tv when I was a kid. I learned a lot from him back in the day. Was amazing getting to fish next to him and his son Scott. Both of them were really nice, even though I felt awful bothering him. I caught him while he was tying up a new bait. Was an amazing day. That lake is beautiful, can't wait to go back.

Well, spooled up a new spinning reel to test out some lighter fishing. 2nd biggest in the pond so far, 3lbs 4oz. Biggest is 3lbs 12oz. Caught on a Carolina rig. Fish for today, Friday 6/30. STREAK IS ALIVE!!! Close to a month of a fish everyday! Hitting Headwaters tomorrow for some fun, hopefully there will be more pics.

ROFL, it was pouring all night, had to go out in the rain to get my fish for the day. Battling the rain is part of the streak!!

The streak goes on and on......thurs 6/29 fish.

Dink of the day......really hot out today, was 95F and feels like 105F. Then, like fine Florida fashion, rain.... I'm GOING STREAKING!!!

THE STREAK GOES ON!! Had a dinner to go to. Got home late and almost didn’t go out. Figured I would stroll down. The mosquitoes ? were out in full effect. Could only stand it for 15mins or so before I threw in the towel. Still got my fish for Wed 6/28.

Got this today, biggest snake head so far out of my pond.

Already got my fish for today, but wanted to test out a new reel (Lews Tournament pro, my GF is the best). Again, inhaled my 6" speed worm. I knew what it was as soon as it hits. You can feel it slither when it pulls. I wish it was a bass, but they do put up a hell of a fight. I had to do the drag dance for a bit, had a big death roll and got back into the water and took off. I let him run till he was tired out and pulled him back like a floating log. Biggest one in the pond so far, 8lbs 2oz.

Well, GF went to sleep late, but still got out to get Tuesday 6/27 fish. STREAK CONTINUES! Got my first buzzbait fish tonight, the zoom speed worm got the next one....and the Patroller hooked a LUNKER HAHA!!

KEEPING THE STREAK ALIVE! Here is Monday 6/26 fish. Caught it on the new chatterbait and new rod (Dobyns Fury 734C). Hit it on the fall, almost thought I was caught on something till it yanked back haha.

I even got the red bug and have been mixing them in the bag with the junebug and trying to get some of the color to leak on there. I have got a few with the red bug color, but always like mixing my own colors.

Well, since I am from Florida and went to school there...Ill say GO GATORS! Went out to have a quick smoke break, thought I would take the patroller out for another jaunt. 3rd cast in.....keeping the streak alive. #2 Sunday fish and probably the smallest all weekend. Still though, topwater fishing is the most fun I have had so far....when they hit the top of the water like a shark, its awesome. I do find myself forcing the topwater lure in just because I love to watch it happen. Love me some Junebug red Speedies......they crush here in florida. Junebug and Junebug Red are the 2 best colors by far.

And the streak goes on! Got home late, was raining a bit, but went out anyway to get a midnight bass. This counts for Sunday 6/25. Got it off the Mach Patroller. Had a nice fish on a chatterbait with a swimbait trailer, but it got off....got a decent hook set in it though.....hmm..
