Which tatula is it?

Tatula Elite vs Tatula 100
Oh ok. So it will be as good as any other Daiwa but then better at pitching and flipping?

Definitely not buying the kvd. Felt it in store and it was super thick for a rod I’m used to. Is that all glass rods tho?
-
Tatula Elite vs Tatula 100
Because I want a reel that will cast far rather than for close quarters.
-
New rod
Just hesitant because the kvd rods don’t have all that good feedback online and I’ve had a lews rod break out of no where when it was nearly brand new. Might keep looking. Maybe the shimano intenza

Tatula Elite vs Tatula 100
Thanks, gonna try to sell my p/f and buy an elite long cast.

Tatula elite P/F
So you don’t think elite is worth it?
-
Tatula elite P/F
But will it still cast long? I wanted it for long casting and moving baits more than flipping stuff. But if it really is good for casting 1/8-1/4 oz that would be good.

Also been looking at this, https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Ark_Randall_Tharp_Honey_Badger_Series_Casting_Rods/descpage-ARKRT.html as well as the shimano intenza. I need a medium moderate fast ish for smaller moving baits and cranks. This one linked says it throws down to 1/8, but has a very wide range so not sure

So do you think a kvd composite rod would be worth picking up for $65? I already got the dobyns kaden heavy fast. Now I need a medium for my smaller cranks.

Tatula elite P/F
So I got a tatula elite on a eBay auction for less than 140, but it’s the pitching and flipping version. I intended to get the long cast. Does the pitching and flipping one really not cast as far? Should I sell it and get a long cast? edit: if anyone would like to buy this reel message me, I don’t want it

Tatula Elite vs Tatula 100
So I bought a tatula elite for a really good price on ebay, but it is the pitching and flipping one. Will it still have the good distance that I bought it for? I’m going to use 12 lb line so the capacity shouldn’t really be a problem.

Not using that website. Seems weird lol

New rod
But it has more of a moderate than a normal fast action? I already have a travel rod that’s a medium fast, but only casts down to 1/4 so I may just need the 734 CB.

https://www.bigcountrysportinggoods.com/falcon-lowrider-rod-casting-swjg-7ft-2in-mh-lfc-72mh/ this site legit? See, that’s what I was originally thinking and then also getting another one that’s a medium heavy fast, probably a sierra.

Maybe I will try one of those along with a dobyns.

New rod
So since I already have the medium heavy moderate fast from 13 fishing which two do you think I should get?
-
New rod
Yeah, just harder to justify that much on a rod. Sounds dumb but you have to work your way up- this is still my first season So even though the Kaden has moderate fast you think it’s better to get a sierra in the fast action? That’s why I was looking at Kaden for moving baits originally Yeah but my 13 fishing is rated 3/8 oz plus. It also seems very similar to my friends lews Mach 1 rod, which is a medium heavy fast but rated for 3/16 as the lowest.

New rod
Well maybe I’ll get one of each. I didn’t get the Kaden yet actually, was just planning on getting one with my tackle warehouse gift card for my smaller cranks. But I could throw those in my 14 fishing, and one Kaden and one sierra in any model

New rod
Oh shoot i should have looked more carefully. First one that came up was the $250 one. I’m gonna look at the lowrider.
-
New rod
Looking for one a little cheaper, but thanks for the recommendation So the Kaden is the full graphite one?
-
New rod
Thanks. Will look at those. I’ve also been looking at the fury series. The grass is not super thick, I think a medium heavy would be fine. Or maybe a medium heavy + from dobyns since they do run a little light I’ve also been looking at the tfo tactical series.

New rod
Yeah true, but I also don’t have a medium heavy fast that I could jigs and Texas rigs so I was looking at something that was a medium heavy as well. I only have one medium heavy moderate fast I would also like to add that I don’t have many spots currently where I fish very heavy cover. None of it is grass Matts or anything like that. Only one a couple with some Lilly pads and other than that just your average docks wood and grass
-
New rod
Bank and kayak so it might be too long

Sometimes docks in one of the lakes, and then wood and I have a couple spots with grass. Also thought it would just be good to have since it’s just a medium heavy fast so I could throw a variety of things on it
