Yeah true, but I also don’t have a medium heavy fast that I could jigs and Texas rigs so I was looking at something that was a medium heavy as well. I only have one medium heavy moderate fast I would also like to add that I don’t have many spots currently where I fish very heavy cover. None of it is grass Matts or anything like that. Only one a couple with some Lilly pads and other than that just your average docks wood and grass

Sometimes docks in one of the lakes, and then wood and I have a couple spots with grass. Also thought it would just be good to have since it’s just a medium heavy fast so I could throw a variety of things on it

Now that I’ve got my lews lfs, abu garcia, scorpion mgl, and tatula elite I need another rod since I only have a dobyns kaden medium moderate fast, a cheap medium fast 2 piece for traveling, and a 13 fishing omen black medium heavy moderate fast. What should my next rod be? A medium heavy fast? Mahbe a flipping stick like the 765 flip dobyns fury?

So since I’ve heard braid can wear line guides down, can it also wear your reel down more than mono? I’m just trying to decide what reel to put my Braid on for top water. Right now I have a lews lfs, abu garcia black max(first baitcaster I got), and scorpion mgl. I’m going to get another reel regardless, but should I use my lews lfs for top water or a new reel? also thanks to everyone who responds, hearing the input it helpful

Yeah thanks. After lots of research came to the conclusion of sv for more accurate short casts and shimano for longer. Got a scorpion mgl

Yeah I’ve heard it cast well from everyone else other than that. Also I heard it was buzzy when you cast compared to the curado. Do you feel that way about yours?

Considering buying this reel as a good all around one, anything I should know about them before I should buy from digitaka? I don’t really mind that it’s the bigger frame.

So I returned my tatula 80 it made weird noises while casting and didn’t cast far at all it was used and something was definitely wrong, I got a tatula 100 that comes in Friday. So now I’m just deciding for another reel addition since I also sold my slx xt. I’m considering the scorpion mgl, slx dc, curado mgl, or a daiwa 150. I want one with more line capacity since my tatula 100 will throw my lighter stuff. Both the reels I have now(lews Mach 1 and lews lfs) have held up decently well but I want something nicer

Thanks. So, if I had my tatula 100 and slx mgl 71 would I need another reel for heavier lures? Or will the tatula 100 handle them fine with enough line capacity? Thank you all for the help

So you think I should just get an slx mgl? Just looking for a cheaper option then the curado mgl at 180-190 on some sites.
