  1. In your opinion Robert what would your carrot stick be good for (bass fishing)? Do you agree with roadwarrior, is it a novelty or is it a great rod for 150 bucks.

I am looking for a Sugar Momma to support me and my fishing habbits. Must be qualified to support my money needs and keep me in a new bass boat and up on all the new tackle and gear. And must do so without nagging. Please send resumes to my PM, thanks.
  3. would have to say spinnerbaits, we won a club tourny here on ky lake yesterday with 5 fish weighing 21 pounds 15 ounces and caught em all on the blade.
  4. i love texas rig a 10'' or 12'' and sometimes a 16'' with a 1/2 ounce weight from june to august and fish the ledges here on ky lake and they are deadly
  5. Yes. I hate orfering from BPS because they are SLOW! It took my last order 15 days to get here.
  6. As long as it is a SHIMANO it doesn't matter, but esp. the curado and chronarch

I use a bead everytime on a toad, It helps keep the trash from building up on it. I have found a new toad that is better than any of the others, and believe me I have tried them all. Check them out at 152ndstreetbaits.com and look at the toadsters.
  8. BRAID, BRAID, BRAID,
  9. citica is a good reel but I believe the curado will last longer. I had a citica and fished with it for around 8 months and it played out on me. But I have the old green curados that are around 10 years old and still use them. I have a new curado i have had for alittle over a year and it is a sweet reel diffently worth the extra $80
  10. As I have said before Kistler makes the best rods out there IMO. I will take a Kistler any day over loomis, st.croix, airrus, or any other brand I have used. Try one and if you don't like it I'll buy it.
  11. chart. with blue back
  12. IMO they don't look like much...
  13. They are a few on ebay for sale
  14. I noticed that you fish ky lake, so do I and I have been catching alot of bass on toads lately. I always use BRAID for one. Hold your rod at 11 o'clock, that way you have to drop the tip and get your slack before you set the hook, that gives them time to get it most of the time, and alot of times i will wait till i feel them before i set the hook, they won't hardly turn lose of the frog when they bite it. And set the hook HARD. But you are going to miss several fish when fishing a toad, at best you will have around a 70% hook up ratio.
  15. Please tell me what I am doing wrong, so I will not break another all star, never mind I have broke my last one. I guess I fish with my all stars different than I do the rest of my rods, since all star are the only ones I have ever had trouble out of like this. I am glad that some of you like all stars but I do not and don't plan to ever use one again. But if anyone has any info about how not to break an ALL STAR ROD please tell me because I can't figure it out but it seems to be something since everyone seems to think it is my fault.. :
  16. No issue with fisherman, bottom line is since all star sold out the quality has went way DOWN! I am not the only one on here that has said that neither. In MY opinion new all star rods are no good but the old ones where as tuff as nails
  17. I have decide to stick with my kistlers and a couple of loomis rods, they have never failed me. I don't know how to get any higher quality
  18. the new team all star rods are junk, broke 4 this year
  19. T-rig them with a 1/2 to 3/4 ounce weight and fish them on drops/ledges. The bigger the worm the better.
  20. please send all unwanted spinnerbaits to me. They are without a doubt my #1 producing bait in the spring and they will catch monsters too 8-). So IM me if you have some you want to get rid of. My bait I never catch fish on would have to be senkos, I have a bunch of them and fish them fairly often but just never catch much, maybe we can work out something.... Spinnerbaits for senkos...
  21. 1) pfluguer 2)daiwa 3)abu garcia 4)cabelas 5)quantum
  22. Whats the best bass fishing game for a computer? My buddy just had surgery and I was going to get him one to help cure his fishing fever.
  23. No i am not a braid user, and I never said that it was totally the rods fault I simply mean that if a rod can't swing 3 pounders than I don't need it. I swing 5 pounders every now and then but try not to make a habbit of it. I know there are a lot of guys on here that love all stars but I didn't mean to press any buttons but i am displeased with this
