I've had a lot of luck on the zoom fat albert grubs last year. Accounted for a lot of fish. I picked some rage tails myself this year and giving it a go. I'm pretty excited to try them out to be honest. I doubt they will replace my Fat albert grubs though.

I can pitch light jigs and plastic baits in open water with little structure and throw jerkbaits on the same rod. I use 12# test line. Flipping requires heavier line and stout rod usually for short distant in the nasty stuff. I can't see how you can fit throwing jerkbaits and Flipping on one rod would even work. What rod are you trying to achieve this with?

Yeah did that with the Shad once...I was like why isn't this thing working right?!? Then after the third cast i figured it out. Felt like an idiot. It was 6 in the morning,didn't get much sleep and I was anxious to wet a line.I could see the splashing all around me that morning.

I have better luck on 1/8-1/4 oz jigs when the water is calm and the fish are spookish.3/8-1/2oz when they are aggressive and feeding. River current also plays a role in what size weight I need to be using as well.

Sirsnook is on the money...while facebook is definitely different from this website/message board,they aren't completely different. All they are are "gossip" corners. While we take in what's the latest,newest,coolest technique in fishing.Facebook is more socially active in what who's doing what. Internet is one big social empire. I call it the "gossip mill" for all generations. yes,I have facebook......kinda to mess around with my friends and keep in touch with em'. and I'll agree with you...some people take facebook way too serious. But I could say that about people in the fishing world too.....

yeah that's a bit different situation. They are happy with an extra $10-$20. We have tattoo parties here and the artist doesn't request tips,he only requests he gets at least 8-10 people. Usually it's something small,but it's easy money for him. Look up Darrel Maniaci on facebook,he's the guy I go to.You can see some of his work he's done.

Back in the day you really didn't...now though...you do. I believe it has something to do with shop owner making that money.Artists only get a portion of that money. So tipping is showing gratitude toward your artist. 20% is the tipping rate for artists right now. Just so people know.
