I use 12# test XL for open water on spinning. It's hard to beat the limpness of that line.Lately I've been favoring P-line CXX fluorocarbon in 6# test on my spinning outfits.I always have XL on an extra spool for top water lures though. I use 14# test XT for most of my baitcasters. XT ain't no joke when it comes to abrasive resistance. I've used that line for just about anything from 3/8 to 1oz jigs.Like Raul mentioned,I wouldn't use XT on spinning reels 10# test line or above. I'll recommend XL & XT to anybody,it's good line around here.I've yet to have a problem with either.Anytime I try something new I almost always go back to my reliable XL & XT line.

Nope you ain't the only one...I love my spinning rigs.More than my baitcasters I can cast baitcasters just fine,but I still prefer spinning.I think it's because I'm a light finesse fisherman. They are all tools to me and have their time and place.

In some extent I think yes.....but nothing beats knowledge and experience. I'm definitely getting better,but I still have my days I'm stumped. I don't use any fancy electronics.I don't even have a boat yet. Internet helps a lot...you can search the topo maps on a said body of water and kind of figure out where you need to be fishing that day.

Just notice you are from South Africa.You guys probably have way more aggressive fish in that water than we do.I don't even want to began to try and guess what's cutting your line in there.Largemouth Bass do not have sharp enough teeth to cut line unless your fish is entirely another specie of bass.

I doubt you'll make it to the tank. A dude tying on a lure is gonna look highly suspicious.Specially when you are opening it up out of a package. I don't know about your BPS,but many high end stores are well equipped with security cameras with somebody watching in the back room. I guess it could depend on the store.

Sorry, but I don't fall into that category. It may be the way you live, but not me. Those who live for the almighty buck are inevitably disappointed. As far as the world getting greedier, I don't think so. It's not getting any more or less greedy. It is the same. The only difference is that instant, worldwide communication only makes it more evident. I was taught a different code of ethics by my parents, thank goodness. It's not the way I live....it's the fact of life....why do you think everything in price is rising? The cost of living is going up? Everything that has a price tag is getting more expensive? People demanding more money. It's because people are getting greedier. I'm the only guy at work that HATES working overtime...I rather spend my days with my family than making money. I can't say that for more than 75% of the people I work with.

Same here...Yum dingers are cheaper there than anywhere else.Otherwise i probably wouldn't even bother glancing in the fishing isle. Since everything is Super Walmart now It's gone considerably downhill. :-/

I don't agree with an 18 game season either. But a lockout is gonna suck.It could even have an impact on the economy as well here. Just think about that.

That sucks. I'm only about 35-40 minutes away. I don't go very often,but when I do I make it a trip.

Nicotine gum can become addictive as well. I have a guy at work who did that and ended up getting addicted to the gum and started smoking again. This isn't the first time I've heard this either.

Now that's how it's done! Christina sung a remix......I think she did miss a few words in there.I don't hate her for singing it..I hate the NFL for allowing these people to try to sing it like that.I can't imagine what some of these people over seas think every time somebody butchers the Nation Anthem.It's like they pick people to sing it without knowing exactly how they are going to sing it before hand. They really need an "audition" before they put these people on stage Celebrity or Not.... Looking at the past Christina has screwed it up before at a hockey game. :
