  1. Check out “bead organizers” on Amazon. Same concept as the BKK terminal boxes with small individual labeled boxes that all fit inside one case. I’ve been using them for a couple years. Great solution for organizing jig heads or even skirted jigs too.
  2. My NE/IA/MN bass have been amused by all the expensive power fishing baits I’ve showed them this year. They prefer to inhale the smallest and cheapest baits I throw (out of desperation).
  3. I’ve been waiting for a thread to say what I’ve had on my mind for a long time… I hate the name sexy shad.
  4. Couple weeks ago I threw one out (too hard) and got a backlash. After getting the line picked out, reeled up all the slack and discovered I had a 4 pounder on. Been trying to duplicate that retrieve ever since.
  5. Ryugi talisman for all wacky, neko and drop shot
  6. Fish Field has discount codes on the front page of their site for 15% off orders over $150 and 20% off orders over $250. The code worked for me on full price Daiwa reels. Already discounted items are excluded.
  7. Murdered them on a 1/8 oz jig head and a 3” mayor a couple days ago in NE. Water temps in high 50s. They were chilling in grass/ wood mixture 8-12 ft of water, but ready to pounce.
  8. Don’t think this has been mentioned, but Omnia has 20% off code SANTA20 right now - excluding rods, reels, electronics.
  9. It’s beautiful. What snap is that?
  10. FedEx cleared it through customs and billed me the 15% tariff (not 55%). I ordered from JLS which didn’t add any duty at checkout. So if APF is quoting 55% on an aluminum reel at checkout they’re misinformed.
  11. This is what I sent FedEx to make sure I wasn’t charged a tariff based on an aluminum import but rather (correctly) an assembled fishing reel (15% from Japan): “Description of good: One (1) Daiwa Zillion 21 baitcasting fishing reel. Hand-operated, non-motorized sporting goods item made of aluminum alloy with stainless steel/brass internal components. Intended for recreational fishing use. HS Code 9507.30.4000.”
