If I was only looking at the bottom pic I would of guessed 3-3.5. I pretty sure your over estimating that fish. I would bet a good chunk of money that that fish doesn't weigh 6lbs. Very nice fish though.

Wow.......dsaavedra. I'm going to say more like 4lbs on the low side and 5lbs on the high side. Its very hard to tell by pictures though. If your fish is more like 8-9 please accpet my apology.

Welcome ;D. I'm not a fish biologist and would recommend you contacting one. However, IMO if you have bream that are reaching 1lb you don't have a problem. If you stop seeing smaller bream then I would think you have a problem. It seems to me some of the smaller bream are making it to adulthood. Can't know for sure though, but i'm off on Tuesday and could come check it out for ya .

I don't see a huge problem with it. They are just protecting themselves. I fill up everytime I stop(about 68.00). My brother who is in high school will get 5.00 on ocassion. Your are purchasing something that could be a wide range of money, and they don't really take the money it is just on hold. It has to be done b/c if you put 70.00 in prior to paying and then your card doesn't go through they can't get the gas back.

Their right. Many banks started doing it when gas go so high and it became very easy to put 80.00 to 90.00 dollars in. My bank does 100.00.

I think its b/c of the marging of victory in the Pats games. Hard to throw two teams into the undefeated talk, and the Patriots wins have been more dominating.

Even if I caught more bass on a c-rig t-rig would stil be my favorite. Setting the hook on a t-rig is the best part of bass fishing.

I agree that you can be just as accurate with a spinning setup. Just takes more practice and less room for error.

I think a shorter rod would improve your accuracy, but the one you have can be plenty accurate. If you are having problems a little practice will straighten it right out. On the whole baitcasters are much more accurate than spinning equipment.

Baby bush bugs, beavers and tube craws probably account for 90% of my fish in the last month. I'm not a big color guy at all, but it seems like i've been doing 3X's better with green pumpkin than watermelon the last month. I almost always start with watermelon, and usually never switch. I can think of three times lately that i've fished watermelon for 1-3 hours then switched to green pumpkin and started catching fish. Very wierd considering how close the two colors are.
