  1. Welcome .
  2. Wow that is a fat smallie . I got excited though. I thought I was about to see 13-15 lbs largemouth.
  3. I think that that is just the best color for the way you fish a jig. Some crawfish do have blue in them, but I think this just another example of color mattering much more to us than fish.

Good point. Lets start handing them out in high school and junior highs.
  5. Justfishin, I don't know if the mods will come along to answer your question since the policy is not open for debate. However, I would, as someone who enjoys your posts, like to say please don't take it personal and hold it against the forum. The mods can't know that you won't take the post in the wrong direction. Or that someone won't come along and insult your son forcing you to take it in the wrong direction. As i'm sure you know there is many differing opinions on the war were in right now. The mods made a decision that the subject was a little to touchy and locked it. It was nothing personal just a judgement call. You yourself admitted you could see how it was a little political. Think about all our men overseas right now and i'm sure you'll realize there is worse things than having a thread locked. Matt
  6. great thread, very funny stuff ;D ;D.
  7. Raul, Can you please list the approx. gear ratios of those reels for those of us that don't know?
  8. So Fork is not out of the running. Thats where i'm rooting for. Kind of doubt Alan Henry would have enough boat rentals, but don't know for sure.

Thats a good looking family Avid.
  10. Barry bonds rookie card ;D ;D ;D ;D.
  11. I just wish Griffey hadn't been injured all those years. So he would be breaking it, and we could all be celebrating this great record that is about to be broken.
  12. Cajun, I support your right to disagree, and you are correct he's probably going to break the record whether I like it or not. However, he admitted to taking steroids. He just thought it was flaxseed oil :.
  13. Eye/hand control is the biggest part of hitting the baseball. Which I admit is very difficult to do. Eye/hand control plus muscles is the biggest part of hitting a homerun.
  14. I'm not a c'rig expert by any means, but the only thing i've caught them on is a beaver.
  15. Welcome . You did indeed just join a great forum.
  16. Welcome and thanks for the service. I'm not above camping in the yard either.
  17. I agree with Pond Hopper. The only disadvantage i've discovered is the side plate. Luckily I haven't had to change mine since i've had it, but if you like to constantly tinker with your reels I could see how this one could be frustrating.
  18. I've had mine for several months now and love it. Well worth the money IMO.
  19. Happy birthday!!!!!!!!

2.5lbs, probably would of gone five if it hadn't had its tail amputated .
  22. Really cool ;D.
  23. Wow...thats a fat fish. You are right anytime I get a lure that I need to gain some confidence in I take it up to my community pond and give it a shot.
  24. Bonds makes me sick as well. Everyone knows he cheated and even if its not against baseball rules its against the law. It probably doesn't state in the baseball rule book that you can't urinate while standing on third base, but I bet you would get suspended if you did. I've been watching the games in LA, and will watch the San Diego games, just to see how bad he gets treated when he breaks the record. I will not watch if it looks like he's going to break it in San Fran. Having said that, he should be in the hall. He was a hall of famer before steroids, but he would of not came near the homerun record without them.
  25. What did you think you were here for Muddy???? I was very sad when I started reading this post, but am very glad to hear your back. If someone doesn't care enough to put their name on something its best to ignore it.
