  1. I did this once when I first started fishing. Turned out the lake was full of carp and that is what I was chasing around(felt like a big DA). Are you sure they were bass.
  2. Welcome ;D
  3. Welcome....looks like you found a nice little boat.
  4. It is a nice fish. Good job.
  5. I'll bet a 100 says RoLo has the highest IQ of any BassResource member. Not real sure how hard of an award that is to win though ;D .
  6. I posted just a little earlier that one of burley's comments was the funniest post I had ever read. Not anymore, I couldn't stop laughing for like 2 minutes.
  7. Maybe the funniest post i've ever read ;D ;D ;D
  8. T-rigged with a 1/8oz weight hopped of the bottom most of the time. Also work great on c-rigs. I always use the lightest weight I can get away with.
  9. Thats pretty impressive. I have more faith in my equipment now. I fish 3/0 and 4/0 Gammy's with 15lb CXX.
  10. Were you thinking it might be larger when it hit that 7" senko?
  11. Nice fish. Welcome.
  12. Wow.....simply Wow.
  13. Around 2.85 here. If anybody within a hour of the DFW area needs someone to split costs w/ so they can go out more i'm your man.
  14. Lol........you guys are spoiled. I look at this site all day at work on dial up :'(.
  15. 6lbs 12oz, is also my personal best. Caught swimming a jig. The picture I posted is the same fish in my avatar. Posted this pic b/c I think it looks bigger in this one, but everyone else says it looks bigger in the avatar pic.

You can see it in a swimming pool b/c your eyes are different than a fishes. I believe Shakespear claims that it disappears to a fish. I might be wrong, though. If I am right I have no idea if the claim is correct.

    What he said.
  18. At the top of the page BassResource has a free fish weight calculator. However, IMO weight estimate on length only is worthless. I've used the calculator on fish i've weighed and it has been way off(like pounds). Good thing is it is usually heavy ;D. When I use the calculator with a length and girth measurement it is pretty accurate.
  19. I've always texposed them and never had any problem. You might try that first.
  20. Lol....I thought I recognized you. I didn't know we had famous TV stars on here. Can I have your autograph?
  21. You nailed the t-rig , but as Ceph and Jdw said you should probably texpose it. Just pull the part of the worm that is right in front of the hook point toward the eye a little bit and then slide it back onto the hookpoint.
  22. Dodgeguy.....Have you been on Lunkerville before?
