As Raul said the wooly bug is not a beaver rip off. Only similarity is the craw looking things at the top. I've purchased five bags of them or so and don't personally like them at all. Yum does make a true beaver rip off but I forget what they call them. They work great though, no noticable difference that I can tell. Lake Fork Tackle also makes a beaver rip off called a flipper that is garlic scented that I like. I haven't tried *** beaver type bait yet, but if it works as well as everything else of theirs that I have tried their good. Between all those companies you should be able to find some beaver type bait that you'll be happy with.

I would bet the fish are becoming conditioned to the lure. I fish a very small pond in my community A LOT. If I get a new lure that I think is cool and I take it to the pond a lot of the time I can hammer them for two or three days. However, then all of a sudden its like nothing. Seems to take a good 2-3 weeks for them to hit consistently again if I really weared them out for a couple of days.

Baby Bush Bugs and Beavers. All you guys that like throwing brush hogs really outta try *** *** once, especially if your adding scent to the brush hogs. They come with a garlic scent already and IMO really outfish unscented brush hogs.
