A great alternative to the Yamamoto is the Mister Twister Comida. Has a nice little wiggle to it on the drop and the weight is there. A bunch cheaper too. The bad??? Color selection is not as good as Yamamoto but it’s good enough for me.

I've eaten many right off the grill soak/marinate if you wish and throw 'em on the grill.

Won't be too long and we'll be looking at a good jerkbait bite again....with $8-$16 pike bite-offs. I've lost 3x more tackle in my last 2-3 outings than I did all spring and summer long. Them gators are on a tear this fall!

I do my own too. Been doing it for about 6-7 yrs now. Mine are all Daiwa but I have worked on most brands.

I run 4 blades (Trophy Plus) on my Champion 191 Elite. More lift, better overall performance, better ride on my hull. Wouldn't surprise me a bit, considering how much crap those guys carry.

I have one that tightens from the rear and have never liked the way it feels in my hand. It is an older Cabela's Fish Eagle and I like the rod except for that seat.
