  1. All mine are Guide Wear from Cabela's.
  2. LM = black/blue jig&craw SM = Gapen's Water Wart brown
  3. If you just got it take it back and exchange it.
  4. I've considered this myself. There could be use for one but I think you just found out what you're up against to do this. An excessively heavy and poorly balanced rig could just make for a long, tiring day.
  5. Love it! I bet he's gonna spool it with Big Game, no? I hope catches a fish with it real soon!
  6. I tried that too, did work on some of them but not all.
  7. I bought Spro ball bearing swivels once. 2 bags. 1/3 of them were worthless and were sticky enough that I couldn't get more than 2 rotations from a free hanging blade. No more Spro for me!
  8. 5 months? Are you serious?
  9. #1 is good info to know for the stubby's. That's a d**n small EWG hook. I think I even have some #2's but they are hard to find. Got mine at Barlow's I think?
  10. So, what size hook are you guys using on these 2 3/4" tubes?
  11. I used to get mine from Canyon Plastics. The 3 3/4" is my favorite unsalted finesse tube. I do NOT want a salted tube for my finesse applications. I have not ordered from them since the new owners bought it but when I need more I will give them a try. Have been an excellent product in the past and I'd guess still is. http://www.canyon-plastics.com/category-s/1817.htm
  12. I ain't had one that ever got me THAT excited. I'm not a bass kisser.
  13. Does he have one of those giant Rapala lures that cost $400 too?
  14. Today is a special day here in MN. Today was 4th day post front. First time this year that I know of. Tomorrow will be 5. If that doesn't excite you then you don't know what you don't know. For all you getting out tomorrow...enjoy!
  15. The 13th Valley I don't know how many times, maybe 4 or 5.
  16. I don't catch many fish so no big bass either.
  17. I know that area well, spent many days of my youth there before there was a county park. It's also a good carp/sucker area in the spring.
  18. I've never seen them marked that low! In any case $50 for an Arachnid is a steal!
  19. I, like most others here, have many favorites. Just to throw out one that hasn't been mentioned yet, my favorite Hitchcock movie is Rear Window.
  20. But...the T3's were the original T-wing reels and you hate the T-wing??
  21. So, it's done and over with. Move on to your happy place.
  22. Please don't buy another Daiwa. It very likely won't meet any of your expectations because they haven't changed anything on them enough that it would satisfy you any more than what you had previously.
  23. Formula Propeller is your local source for repair, located in/near Osseo.
  24. Won't go without mine, Ive done very well with them. Blue Ghost is my killer.
