I am some times amazed at some of the junk that is sold on ebay and the amount that this junk is sold for. About 4 years ago, my friend had an ebay account and I asked him what he was selling. He said junk. Huh.. Junk He says come on I show you. So we hop in his truck and he drives around till he finds trash/junk on the side of the road and sets it in the back of the truck. It was one of the Battery power ride on cars for kids. It was missing parts of its cover and one of the wheels was missing too. At the house he cleans off teh mud and takes the picture. Put it on ebay and it sells for for 95 dollars with shipping the winner pays about 150 dollars for a broken kids toy that at the time was probally selling at wally world new for about 180. I guess it true what they say, "A fool and his money will soon part" Makes me want to reopen my ebay account. I have a storage shed full of just the greatest things ;D This is not the yoy it just to let others know what type of ridding toy I was speaking of. I think the one he sold was a jeep of some sorts

Log into the account that has the files. Use windows explored and open up your C drive Make a Folder on the root of your "C" drive, not in the My Documents or any other folders but at the root of the C drive itself (Lets call it Dad Temp) Now copy the files that you need to this folder. Log off of this account and log on to your new account that you are an administrator on and use windows explore again and you should be able to access that folder that is on the root of the c drive "Dad Temp" All else PM me And I talk you through it on my cell CGH

Speak of odd boats. I know most have seen those old style vans whose top looks like an upside down tri-hull. I sen one of those on LNV Canal in Beaumont texas with Four guys fishing out of it. The had 4 hp outboard and two trolling motors on the dang thing. Man if i would have just had a camera

Thanks all for your replies. He has put the brakes on the hole cutting and he's looking into the Alumaducer. I kinda like the Ideal of cutting big holes and not needing a fishfinder at all!

I'd go with farmpond ideal and keep your daily driver and get you a used truck/suv just to pull the boat. 25 miles to the gallon pulling a 1500lb boat seams like a big stretch

Where there is a way there is one are several that will try. Sure why not. But you will not end up with a 12.5 Hp of outboard thrust, more likely a very good push from two fives. The 7.5 will feel drag once you accelerate past the max speed of the five, at least that is my best guess. I ran a 3.5 hp and 3 hp Eska's at the same time and they worked great together. Just make sure that you don't exceed what your boat can safely handle.

Looking for pros and cons for cutting hole in 16 foot jon boat (all welded) for the transducer. One of the guys (David) that I work with has a 16 foot boat that he has lost several transducer off the transome and even a couple from his trolling motor mount. He has tried mounting on the floor of the jon, with not so good results. Now he has this ideal of cutting a 3 by 5 hole in the boat then placing a strip of plexi-glass over hole to mount the the transducer on. His thinking is that it will be just like mounting it in a glass boat. I'm not sure if it's a bad ideal or not. I'm, sorta on the fence-post on this one.

Ever thought of just making what you need? Go to HD or lowes and get you some sheet metal bend it to the shape you need to mount your stick steer on and attached it to your jon.
