  1. Everytime that I've used them I had the fish either come off the hook or I wouldn't get it hooked at all. I don't like them but thats just me.
  2. I like to swim them weightless through grass and weed.
  3. I find that I catch bigger fish on snag proof frogs, but I think I catch more on the zoom horny toads and the ribbits.
  4. I had a snapping turtle try and eat mine once and unfortunately he had a powerful enough bite to basically crush it.
  5. A stingray. Gotta love the brackish water.
  6. It has affected me. I used to drive around looking for new ponds to fish but now I stick to the ones close by. And to think, I was planning on saving for a boat this summer, but all the extra money I would be making will probably be going to gas. :'(
  7. Favorite: t-rig red shad culprit worm Most Productive: Whatever the bass are liking that day.
  8. I've killed a few. It always makes me sad too because I always think that it could have been the one that I would catch a few years down the road that would be 10+ pounds. :'(
  9. It's possible that they could be missing the buzzbait. Maybe try a slower retrieving top water, like a pop-r or zara spook.
  10. Walmart should have them, but I don't really know because I don't usually by any of my fishing supplies from walmart. I know Academy Sports and Outdoors has a nice selection of them.
  11. I'm surprised no one has suggested the devil's horse yet.

  13. Culprits are the ones for me. I love their worms and lizards. I just wish they made a bigger selection of soft plastics.
  14. That looks very useful for someone who doesn't know how to t-rig a bait.
  15. x2 Wish I could catch a stringer like that.
  16. Gamakatsu for me. I have always found them to be sharper than mustad.
  17. Does anyone know of any good places to bank fish in southeast Louisiana? I have a few good places but I am looking for somewhere new and I do not have a boat at the moment. Preferably north or west of Lake Pontchartrain. Thanks, T-Bone
  18. I have a rapala and it is pretty accurate.
  19. I have a few packs of old culprit worms, from the 80s I think, that I still use on occasion and the great thing is they work and they are more durable than most soft plastics that I use today. The only bad thing is that they won't last forever. :'(
  20. Maybe try some topwater baits or crankbaits.

I love culprit worms, they have the best action as far as worms go if you ask me. I love all the colors but the red shad is my favorite. Caught my biggest fish on one, t-rigged.
  22. Personally I prefer my baitcaster for almost everything except for the extremely light lures. But on a windy day I take no shame in using my spinning reel for everything especially if I'm throwing into the wind.
  23. Zoom super fluke, in various colors, mostly watermelon red flake.
