hey all you metallica fans (i know there are a few ) what do you guys think about the St. Anger album? i personally like it a lot. it is so much different than any of their previous albums but different doesnt equal bad. i will admit, at first i thought it sounded like trash, but after listening to it a few times it has really grown on me and i like this album a bunch. the songs are very catchy and the lyrics are deep! anyway, what are your thoughts?

which is why you should spend half of the money on a rapala rapalas have 7-12 epoxy clear coats and the epoxy will get scratched but the actual paint will not, and you can brush on some clear fingernail polish over the epoxy scratches and you cant see em anymore. its too bad bandit and lucky craft do not have epoxy clear coats :

yeah foam spiders are great for bluegills. i've even caught a few bass on them. i need to make some more and take em out when the weather warms up. theyre very fun to fish on a fly rod!

can i use paint thinner or mineral spirits to thin devcon 2-ton epoxy? if so, how much should i use?

yeah it was very fun! when i was finished i wanted to do another rod but i dont have any more rods that i would be willing to potentially mess up/void the warranty. i think i might adjust the taper on my hands. i like the looks of yours how they are tapered all the way down the handle, instead of just at the edge like mine.

im not really sure....i havent fished my re-finished lures a whole lot. i do plan on fishing this particular one during the spawn though, should be a good producer. i guess i could. i'd feel awfully bad if i messsed that one up though :-/. yup

you're funny! you supply the lure and i could easily put a sunfish finish on it just like that for a small price .

if its really that bad just save yourself the frustration and wait till it warms up.

yeah his eyes do look good. are they stick on eyes though? for some reason i thought those eyes were affixed to the inernal lead head somehow. for this bait i just popped off the eyes from the original bait and then refinished the bait and stuck th eyes back on. i think they look pretty good.

the paint must be enamel or it wont work. im not sure what createx is, but if it is enamel then it will work. heck, im using $0.96 cans of walmart brand enamel spray paint, so im sure if you used a good paint it would turn out better.

wow thats very cool. those bluegills fight VERY hard for their size. if bluegills grew to 5lbs, i'd probably drop bass fishing and fish for them! ;D that reminds me of the time my dad got a bluegill that was a little bit smaller than yours, but he caught it on a 7.5" power worm and a 3/0 worm hook!

its very simple. basspro96 pretty much got it right, excet for the angle. i have found it gives a pretty bad pattern if you use a 45° angle. from my tests, the close to 0° the better the result. and you also want a very light mist of, because a heavy spraying of paint will cause it to be really dark (like in the bottom right corner of my test). so you wanna keep as low of an angle as possible and be about a foot away or maybe farther. sam, i plan on putting it on a few lures to make em look purdy. not sure if it will attract fish or girls . and im goin fishin this evening and tomorrow morning, so i'll let you know whether or not the dogwoods are blooming .
