isnt maps.live.com black and white? i like google earth better...its more interactive and its in color. sometimes if you can get a good enough picture of a lake (the picture qualities vary from place to place) you can even see depth changes in the body of water.

didnt wanna rip off the other spro thread, but i had been wodering this after seeing an ad in a mag. and i was wondering...are the spro frogs reallllly worth the 8 bucks they cost??? i have a snagproof perfect tournament frog or whatever...the one w/ tassle legs...and most of the time the fish miss the bait totally, but when a fish does get on, the hooks refuse to set in the fish's mouth. ive heard other ppl have this problem w/ this frog too. well is the bronze eye the same way? can you get a nice, solid, un-obstructed hookset on it? thanks guys.

pfffff.....bad day my @$$!!!! im stuck in the house w/ a killer head cold and my nose is raw, lips are cracked, and lower 30° weather. be glad youre fishin dude. but thats cool that you stuck it out and figured them fishes out. i wish i could spend an entire day fishing just trying to figure out what it takes to squeeze out a few bits. my dad always calls it quits after the first bite wears off. anyway, nice work paul...hope you can get a big one before '08!

wow great poll. i had to really think on this one. i voted weightless texas. i ususally fish them weightless, but when the fishins tough i will always switch to a wacky and ususally can squeeze out a few fish. but a majority of the time i fish it t-rig weightless. i can fish cover more effectivley w/ t-rig and i like the swayback gliding action when you right em weightless.

yeah that bugs me when people constantly reel in when it is futile. they need to tighten their drag, play the fish w/ the rod, or stop reeling that d**n handle! im not sure if that was a guide or not. the way i understood it from the little description to the left was that the grandmother caught the bass, the mother was behind her (the one that lipped the bass) and that the grand daughter was filming.

braid is a type of line that uses special fibers (usually spectrex) and they are braided together to form a "super line". braid is unique because of its strength to diameter ratio. 50lb braid only has the diameter of 10 or 12lb monofilament (nylon line). hope that helped. ps. some brands of braid are: powerpro, suffix performance braid, and spider wire.
