  1. shouldnt be any harder to paddle....if you plan on using a troling motor...good luck : what kind of pads are they? are they the kind that lay flat on the surface and overlap or are they the kind that gro in clumps and extend out of the water? i like the latter. a spoon should work very well!!! try a johnson silver minow like others have said. i remember fishing in early spring before the lily pads could gro above the surface...and i would run a spoon thru there and catch bass.
  2. That's not true at all. If you have a thicker pen lying around, take the ink and spring out of the middle of it. You then put the senko(or whatever you're using) into the pen until the end of the pen lines up with where you want the ring to be. Then, slide the O-ring on from the thin side until it's on the lure. Good luck. there arent many thick pens out there, so what i like to use is a sharpie. but it might be a problem getting all the guts out of a sharpie...never tried.
  3. you could buy the doug hannon kind or you could customize your very own snake with scent, glitter, rattles, and any color combo imaginable at www.designerlures.com. the owner is very nice. theyre snakes come 3 to a pack for 3 dollars. they are a foot long. very nice. you can go to www.nealstacklebox.com to buy them as designerlures doesnt sell directly.

ive never heard of it so i did a google search of it and i got a tackle warehouse result. i clicked it and that is the DUMBEST looking frog ive ever seen!!!!!! it doesnt even look like a frog. for 15 dollars i dont know why you dont go buy a snagproof pro frog or a spro bronzeye. they are much cheaper and look much better.
  5. where is the answer if its legal to transplant live fish? is it the thing where it says you can only transplant bluegill, golden shiner, fathead minnows, and channel catfish? that doesnt say anything about transporting...your post just confused me...alot :-/
  6. green tops a great store. i been in there once. they had alot of fishing lures. i was lookin at their fly tying supplies. i was suprised to fnd them in there. i tihnk at the end of the day i walked out w/ a squirrel call and a couple of fisihng lures. which color bream did you get? the spring bream or the other one?
  7. ok there is no minimum size for bluegill here and the maximum in possesion is 15. so it should be legal.
  8. wait i just did a google image search of "blue fox spinnerbait" and found some bass style ones....and one w/ a willow/colorado blade combo. looks out dated tho...not sure if they still make it.
  9. well then somebody took a bluefox blade and stuck it on your spinnerbait because the fox w/ fish in mouth is bluefox's logo. see: where did you get this spinnerbait? did somebody give it to you? because if someone gave it to you then they probably took a bluefox blade and stuck it on there.
  10. my gawd! that fish is a skware!!! just as long as it is tall!!!!
  11. gotta love that smile!!!
  12. i noticed everyone had their name by their pic...are we supposed to put that in or do you???

  14. wait...is this like a bass style spinnerbait or is it an inline spinnerbait....because bluefox only makes inline spinnerbaits.

you could take a tinsy splitshot and crimp it on the bend of your hook. or you could take a bigger splitshot (or lead airgun pellet) and smash it flat w/ a hammer so you have a thin lead "strip" and wrap that around the hook shank.
  17. nice job! way to go TRT!!!!
  18. ive always wondered about using buzzbaits under water. it seems like it would work and give off alot of vibration!
  19. i know i just got the new booklet a few days ago and it confuses the hell outta me! : i tried calling yesterday but it was after hours so i got a machine. i will try calling again today. i also need to know if it is legal to transport any live fish...in particular bluegill and bass. any help?
  20. ok thanks for the advice. there are a few holes and stuff in the pads. next time i'll just guid my frogs into them holes.or maybe i'll pitch a snko in those holes and stuff.....i wanna take a dropshot rig w/ a senko and just punch thru those lilies so i can fish my senko right underneath them. could i fish a 10" culprit worm on top those lilies like a snake and let its tail dangle down in any holes and stuff? you think that would be effective?
  21. Hey guys...i need some help finding out if its legal to use a live bluegill on a hook for bait here in maryland. thanks.
  22. yeah i noticed that they kinda just flick it, they dont really put much into it...maybe i'll try that.
  23. my strong points would be: 1: accurate casting....i can put a weightless soft plastic right where it needs to be to get hit and remain snag free 2: working weightless soft plastics, especially senkos...give me a senko, hook, rod, and water w/ fish and i can catch one. i always seem to outfish ppl when using soft plastics. 3: fishing really heavy cover....i can pick out the right spots and place my lure there to fish all up in's where the fish are.
  24. how come theres no maryland slot up there? :-[
