  1. I totally missed this post. Anyway its a realy GREAT report with nice pics....
  2. There are so many ways to use this type of bait. It has become my favorite lure over the last year. Check this out for some good ways to use senkos.... http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1121527643
  3. I can tell its a nice fish. Very bad pictures though. Were you useing a disposeable camera?
  4. Maybe I just couldent tell because its a small picture, from the pic it looks like a largemouth to me
  5. I personally think they got used to the green one being thrown at them and went crazy for the white one since they have not seen it before. Well thats my guess.....
  6. That is one reason why I always take a landing net with me when fishing. Also I have caught them fishing for bass on worms and got one about a month ago on a senko. They are realy fun to catch. Sometimes I target channel cats specifically with dough balls.
  7. Ok that bass takes the cake for uglyest bass I have EVER seen. Yes even uglyer than that one T-Rig posted that had no top jaw....
  8. Nice bass and striper. Always great to catch a species of fish you do not catch often.
  9. Great report. Just so you know that is not a spotted bass, it is a largemouth bass. Anyway that is a realy great looking largemouth. Id say hes around 3 pounds as well.
  10. It doesent look like there was any "bad fishing" going on...I guess maybe all those fish were caught over a long period of time. Looks like you guys had fun.
  11. I have a pond which is practically in my backyard...well its actually a short walk down the street from my house. I have been fishing it frequently and I usually use green senkos, flukes, or finess worms, topwater in the pond. I do not throw many hard baits because there is so much brush the hard baits can get stuck in around the lake. Recently I have not been haveing as good of luck as I was haveing at the start of the season. I decided to try a white senko instead of the green which has been the only color I have thrown in the pond. The result was I caught three bass that were around 14-15 inches in two hours as well as one monster bass that was 18 inches( the second biggest one I have caught in this small pond). Here is a pic of the big fish....it was 18 inches, how much you guys thing it weighed. I guess a little over three pounds....
  12. Ok I can see the pics now. That is a very nice bass just shy of 6 LBS. There is blood comeing from his gills though in the first pic. Did you gut hook or gil hook that bass? If so did he swimm off ok?
  13. Im guessing photobucket is down. Just post comments and attach the files
  14. I have always wanted to try smallmouth bass, and pike fishing. Thing is I do not know anywhere in the San Diego area that has these species. I doubt there are any around here but if anyone knows if there are any in my area let me know. I heard these two species put up great fights and have always wanted to catch them.
  15. I bet that 43 inch pike would made a good fight
  16. I was about to say the same thing. Im guessing he accidently selected a pic of a smallmouth when he meant to post a pic of a largemouth.
  17. You know if you pull that off it will be a record for line class for sure.... Infact I bet you already have some line class records that you didnt even know about....
  18. you are jokeing about catching a 75-100lb fish on MICRO LIGHT right?
  19. hahahahaha nice!!!! new world record right there!!!!! now all you gotta do is eat it so no one can verify for sure ;D LOL That made my day there. By the way that story about the guy eating the world record(8 LB) smallmouth bass was the funnyest thing I have ever read on here.....hearing you bring it up again made me laugh....

  21. LOL funny conversations in this thread
  22. I notice when carp feed small bubbles come up from the bottom. It could well be a group of carp haveing a munch on something....
