storm swim baits
I dont know if anyone else has had this problem with these baits but I had a bass rip the tail completely off the first one i threw. That was the first bass I caught on one of these baits and I had to put the second one on from the pack of three right after I caught that fish.

Never though I would say "Too blamin hot to fish"
I had the same problem this morning. I live in san diego and went out at about 6 am to fish. By 8 am it was already way too hot and getting humid. I was sweating. I did end up catching 5 bass though even though 4 of them were dinks. At 8 i decided to come home. I might go out again in the evening.

Rapala X-Rap lures
Just wondering wether or not a couple of these lures are worth getting. They are very nice looking lures and are pretty expensive. Before I buy them though I was just wondering wether you guys recomend them or not. For me the rapala original floating and jointed floating work very well and I think it would only be worth getting the X-Rap lures if they work better than the original and jointed. Just wanted to know what you guys think of these lures.

How Big?
I was going to guess 7-8 lbs actually but now that you have posted how much it did weigh my gues doesent mean anything. Anyway its a very good photo that makes the fish look bigger than it is. Great job holding that fish out to the camera.

How much you think she weighs??
LoL that is pretty funny joke but kind of mean too. Anyway that fish is probably around 5 pounds but its hard to tell from that picture. It looks like a nice bass though.

All you so called "Fishermen or Anglers"...
Everything you wrote is true, and I dont' think people are upset that he's keeping the fish on occasion, it's just the posting of kitchen pictures that's really getting to everyone. Keep your fish if you'd like, just dont' show us kitchen shots, that's all most people care about (like myself). People are entitled to do what they want, as long as it's following the law, which he is obviously doing. But if he cares about making friends on here, or showing off fish pictures, at least meet us half way and just show pics from the lake. Everyone here is very respectful, but please try and respect us as well. That's all I ask, and i'm sure others would like. Hey dabnis brokejew and Pond Hopper are right here. Doesent matter if you keep some bass for the dinner table. Just if you want to keep one dont let people know you are keeping it and no one withh give you a problem. Take your camera with you and get someone else at the lake to take a shot of you and the bass for you. Or if no ones around just put the fish on the ground next to your rod and reel to show the size of the bass. If you post these pics you dont have to let people know you kept the fish. This way people wont give you a problem. Also from some of your posts dabnis you have been overreacting and have been comeing of kind of rude to other people on this forum. Im just warning you you if you keep annoying people you might get banned. Just warning you. Just try not to get so emotional about criticism and dont post kitchen shots and youl be fine here

daughters first top water bass
I like these shots of kids catching nice fish. Reminds me of when I first started fishing. Thing is back then with me I did trout fishing with my dad and his friend.

All you so called "Fishermen or Anglers"...
Hey guys I havent been on this site in a few days realy. My best friend is visiting me from seatle and I been hanging out with her often. Im also buisy with summer school and havent had much time to post on here or fish that much. Anyway catch and release is best which is all I do but I dont have a problem with this guy keeping fish as long as hes not just killing them for the sake of killing them which he obviously is not. He seems to be only keeping fish to eat or give to friends. As long as he doesent kill every good size fish he catches it wont hurt the population. Lots of people at my local lakes keep the occasional bass/carp/catfish for dinner and the fish population is still pretty good and the lakes are not stocked anymore. Even though I only practice catch and release I dont mind the people who keep a fish as long as they use them for food or something. I am going to go check out his other posts now.

Most Overrated lures....
I agree with that 100%. Those lures were all the rage when I first started fishing in like 5th grade. Since then I have seen many people fish with them and have not seen one bass caught with them. Im glad I never asked for a set for christmass now .

Most Overrated lures....
I actually like senkos. The only ones I have used are the origional yamasenkos though. I know the other brands dont cost as much money but I have always wondered if they catch as many fish as the origional senko brand. Maybe I should try out the knock offs some time.

Most Overrated lures....
Ok just to start up some drama on the forums im asking what you guys think is a overrated lure. A lure that many people say is great that you think is trash. Or it can be a lure that is realy exspensive and hardly produces fish. Or maybe just a lure that doesent work at all. Well what you guys think?

another PB thred
Great fish bassholebuster14 and sean_e_bus21 . I also must say you guys know how to take good pictures as well. Bassholebusters pic looks like the bass is about as big as him and seans looks like one of fish chris's photos. Great fish as well as pics.

Swimbait skunkage...
I would actually change over to a different bait if you are haveing no luck on the swimbait. Maybe the bass didnt want to eat swimbaits that day and you just kept throwing it. I would have switched over to another bait. If I throw the same bait for half an hour or so without it realy being hit I put something else on. Dont keep trying a bait that is not produceing for hours.

Your Biggest freshwater fish?
Just wondering what the biggest freshwater fish you guys have ever caught is? Also what is the fish that you have caught that you are the most prowd of? Most likely they are the same fish but maybe not. Also if you have a pit please post it for us all to see. Mine would be this huge 34 inch carp I caught probably about 4 years ago when I was a junior in high school. It is also the fish in my lifetime I am the most prowd of since it is the biggest. Post your biggest fish picture guys

favorite crappie/bluegill bait
I have caught bluegill on some pretty odd baits. I have caught them on bubble gum, a bare trebble hook, and small poppers and torpedos topwater bass fishing. These are just extriem events though that do not happen much. When I first started fishing I would fish for bluegills often and the best baits were bread and corn. I would catch a large number of bluegill with them. Now adays I do not fish for bluegills anymore but I often catch very good size bluegill throwing a medium size yellow or white rooster tail while fishing for bass and crappie. That is probably the best bait for good size bluegill.

Avoiding being "skunked"
I dont get what is so embarressing about that at all. The large yellow or white rooster tails will catch lots of small largemouth bass, crappie, and panfish. I have 3 rooster tails that I take with me often and throw them on a light action rod. Also I once caught a 16 inch largemouth bass on a rooster tail. That was a shocker.
