Me and a buddy of mine decided to go for a couple of hours this afternoon. I caught this monster after about 10 minutes. 7lbs 1oz. All my buddies thought it was an April fools joke lol.

Got a Popmax as well, cant wait to try it out.

Hello guys, Thinking about setting up a rod and reel just for my basstrix and other swimbaits. What would you suggest on length? Also should I get one that is MH or what? Any suggestions I appreciate it. Oh also I want to only spend about 150 bucks at the most.

Thanks Brokejew. Hey Basspro 48 I called the number that Brokejew gave me, 530-533-4990 which is Oroville Outdoors. There are a couple of things though, you have to call at 10am PST. I tried for 45 minutes and finally got through. The big catch is you have to order the same amount that you pay for the basstrix. For example if you order 50 bucks worth of basstrix, you have to order 50 bucks of something else.

I finally got some coming!!!! For those who have used them, I am getting the 4inch size. What kind of hook and size should I use? Also how should I fish them. Also on the flashtrix what are the best way to rig those? I heard dropshotting, any other sugestions? Thanks, KooK.
