  1. The cabelas in ft worth has a butt load of xmlti's in the bargain cave for under $100. Almost Every one is mint
  2. LFT ring fry. Rarely use anything else. Mmm...garlic
  3. Just moved from Moore. If you are in south OKC, I can give you the location of a couple really sweet spots. Shoot me a pm
  4. Welcome!! Spent many days on Travis. Excellent striper/white bass lake
  5. For me, nothing is better than the late 80's into the 90's. Janes addiction, pixies, bush, rollins band, and GRUNGE.... The list could go on & on.
  6. Exactly this. Only time I bust out the spinning gear is for crappie jigs
  7. Lamiglas xc704 or xc705 with a citica or e7. Both rods are extremely versatile and if you shop around can be found in the $150 range
  8. What's up guys? Been out of the loop for a few months. Turns out laptops don't respond well to fire. Just wanted to brag on the great service that I received from the guys at Lamiglas. I broke the tip guide off of my Senko rod and wanted to make sure that it was replaced with the exact right one. I emailed Lamiglas to just find out which tip was the OG and within 48 hrs there was a new tip in my mailbox. Not an endorsement of their product by any means, but I was extremely impressed with the service and wanted to share my experience.
  9. Thanks for the heads up! I much prefer a smaller, locally owned business to the retail giants. I'll definitely be in there pretty soon.
  10. How about the chick that got yanked by her hair--you would have thought that she just got shot.
  11. Definitely low-pro. Durability shoudn't be a concern with a quality reel.
  12. I've not used the specific worm that you mentioned, but I love the ring frys & their magic shads are my favorite fluke type bait.
  13. I freakin killed wal mart towards the end of summer. Stocked up on rage craws & dd22's at a massive discount.
  14. I always thought those things looked creepy as hell
  15. Fedor by whatever he chooses
  16. Gotta love that. A pat on the back plus some free money that has to be spent on gear.
  17. Chrome/blue, firetiger & some type of red
  18. It's all about what you are comfortable with. I have two rigs that I flip/punch/frog with. One is a 6'10" and the other a 7'3". I used a 7'6" for years but snapped it off this summer, and found that I am more comfortable with a shorter rod. Just go with what feels right, and you'll be ok.
  19. Easily one of my favorite shows of all time. Charlie cracks me up every episode. Did anyone catch "The League" right after Sunny? First episode was great! This show looks like a for sure winner.
  20. Lake Fork Tackle ring fry is my go to c-rig bait. They are also a pretty good wacky rig bait. Watermelon seed & chartreuse-pepper are the pretty much the only colors I throw
  21. I agree 100%. I've "outgrown" alot of gear over the years.
  22. 3, 6, 15, 19--Good Stuff
  23. I'm done with BPS. Everything that I might need in a hurry I can get at Academy. If i'm in no rush, then it's a no brainer---***. War Earl Campbell hot links!
  24. Blue/Black Outkast RT. Excellent in the weeds & stumps
  25. x2. Unless i've been fishing some really gnarly cover--then I'll usually respool.
