Snaps for wacky rig
This would lead me to believe that your snaps are fine, but you are not using the correct size for the line that you are using (or your drag setting). When using too small of a snap, the snap becomes the weak link in the chain between you and the fish. Because braid does not stretch it is more inclined to break on really hard hook sets with the drag tightened down all the way. Braid's "shock" strength is not nearly as much as it's "normal" strength. Fish Chris talks about this a lot in his responses regarding fishing light braid. Thanks for that one, I'll take a closer look at my line, I do know its fireline braid but I forget the wieght, I'll have to check it when I get home

Snaps for wacky rig
No. Makes no sense using a snap on single hooks. T-Rig help me on that one, why not on single hooks? do you use them at all? If you think about it, single hooks are moslty used for soft plastics. With that said, you could change soft plastics every 5 minutes and it would not affect your knot. (You are using the same hook) For different colored spinners, crankbaits, poppers, etc. your knot is affected. You either have to cut your line and tie a new knot, or use a snap. Does that make sense? It seems kind of hard to explain... YEP

Snaps for wacky rig
Yea they opened up on me, these were some visciuos strikes, I'm using braid line by fire line. When I changed up to palomar knotting to the hook I got one he!! of a hit and my drag wasn't set right and the line BROKE It was an awsome thing to experiance

Snaps for wacky rig
I used the interlock and the fast snaps and all failed on wacky rig. I palomar knotted straight to the hook and my troubles went away. Does anyone succeed at snaps with a wacky rig set up?

VibraSpins & VibraShocks
Has anyone been throwing the Karu's VibraPackages yet? I've been keeping one or the other next to me on the boat, throwing it in time to time, I'd say I'll use it about 15 to 20 minutes at a time. Got one 12inch on the vibraspin and one 14inch on the vibrashock(so far my favorite). I love the action of the vibrashock and I adapted to it well. I love how you can keep it at top surface and ride it all the way back to the boat, love the playing action of roller coastering it too. I'd like to figure out how I can get it to dive slower with out loosing the strike zone by still cranking it. The bass watch this thing, and when I let it dive they come up on it quick, but I miss the opportunity cause when I pause the cranken more it dives to fast, then scares the bass away or they quit on it. I still like the VibraSpin but, love the VibraShock

RAGE TAIL
Hey Brian, tried the shad today and used them weightless with a #5 wide hook, they did rip the water up, put'em on texas rig and slowed down some, they did pretty good. Are you having most succes with them wieghtless? I picked up a pack of smoke and pearl, is them the only colors on the shad?

well yea, but wouldn't ya think the BR source could provide???? If I go out and by the manual just to show me how to properly apply seals then why be here? this sight is free and the info is over whelming, I'm really hoping someone can help me here for the reason they joined and therefor have some history here to show others that need this info, I won't stop just from this issue, If I get a manual from the library and fix it then I will post the pics and give out the free info on how I did it, I'm sure Glenn, Russ and other moderators will appreciate it Thats why I bounce around on the boat side of the forum-info baby, info- leaking prop help
well I got my parts in today, and there is alot of little things to it I did manage to figure how to take off the lower unit. I plan on going by the library to see if they have a book to help guide me thru it, I really hope so cause I have not done this before. well heres some pics of the mess so far Man, if anybody has any info on how to do this please post to help me and others that might want to do some seal work themselves. Pics, Diagrams, instructions anything will be helpful cause I don't wanna screw it up- Momma said "stupid is as stupid does"

A Fort Worth man trying to scratch an itch on his back used a revolver and accidentally shot himself. Jorge Espinal, 44, was drinking beer and playing poker around 3 a.m. Sunday in his home in the 3500 block of Montague Street, when he got up from the table and walked into another room, said Fort Worth police Lt. Kenneth Dean. He told officers he had an itch on his back and grabbed the first thing he could get a hold of, which was a revolver, Lt. Dean said. The gun went off." Mr. Espinal went back and told his buddies that he shot himself. They didn't believe him until they saw the blood coming down his back, Lt. Dean said. Mr. Espinal was taken to an area hospital, where he was treated and released with non-life-threatening injuries. : - leaking prop help
