McClean Magic Eraser

Try the Mr. Clean eraser pads. Get them a little wet and lightly scrub. Looks like new afterwards.

Mr. Clean, I will have to remeber that one!

I personally use a little bit of soap and warm water, and let the rod thoroughly dry.

Don't forget though, when you get your cork looking like new again with the Magic Eraser, coat it with "Cork Seal" - available from Netcraft.

Great recommendation. U40 Cork Sealer is the real deal. I need to order some more myself to coat a few new rods. I'm either fresh out, or can't find my bottle....

Does anyone know where I can find U40 sealer in Canada? Whet type of store carries his product?

Thanks

A decent rod building shop should have it, or would be able to get it for you. I order mine online. Netcraft, Mudhole, and Cabelas all carry it.

Best part, it's cheap.

Thanks, I checked the website and they only have one retailer in Canada, and it is pretty much across the country from where I am...

Looks like online is the way to go.
