For those of you who use roboworms, how do you decide on the color? The colors and ways they are colored is strange to me, however I would like to try them. Can anyone reccomend at good color for slightly stained, and clear water?

I've done well w/ aaron's magic, green pumpkin and midnight.

Aarons Magic was the fisrt roboworm I tried and I'll always have that color now, it's a really good color, don't know why but it works.  I also like the baby bluegill, Green Weenie, Hologram Shad, and Salt & Pepper Chart.

I use the straight tail worms in 4" and 6" on a dropshot rig and really like them alot.  My best colors for clear water are green weenie, aarons magic, and bold bluegill.  These are all natural colors.  Also for dropshotting, take a look at their Alive Shad.

oxblood zippers in slightly stained to clear. they have a little bit of white on the flat part of the worm that's key. make sure you fish the worm so it swims with the flat on the bottom

I dig the Robo-X Robotail in Aron's Magic the People's Worm colors.

The Zipper worms rock! I like Aarons Magic, MMII, Margarita Mutilator, and Bold Bluegill. The straight tail FX worms have some really great natural colors too.

Aarons Magic.  Great color.  Has produced quite a few fish for me.

I like aaron's magic,oxblood craw,and tequila sunrise.All three do well at Smith Mountain lake,which usually has some stain where I fish it.And as far as how to decide on color,use more natural colors in very clear water,use darker colors(even with flakes)in stained water.Use vivid colors in really stained water or when fishing bedded bass if you wanna see the strike.This is how I approach it.hope this helps.

I've probably got about 4 or 5 colors in my bag. Whenever I get on a drop shot bite, I'll switch off just to see if it makes a difference. It usually doesn't.

However, if you switch to another "kind" of DS bait, that can actually shut them down sometimes. They do love those Robos though!

I agree, I've gone from MMII to babybass, to oxblood and still got fish. Cracks me up when fishing reports say...so and so lake is taking bass on purple plastic's..well if they hit purple, they'll hit most aby color, at least in my experience.
