Featured Replies

Anybody know where I can buy some tungsten weights in bulk (10-20) that is also relatively cheap ? I really dont want to spend like 2 dollars a weight...

I found these on ebay, they are made by Conquistador Tackle:

They go for $5.99 plus $1.00 shipping

Im interested in these weights too, I think that for this price its worth experimenting... Hope this is what you were looking for.

I got some from there.

Are you happy with them?  If so, at that price I can't pass them up

I have never bought anything but Tru Tungsten so I am not familar with the less expensive ones. But I understand some of them are rough inside and will nick your line pretty badly. Be careful could cost you a big fish

That's a great tip ib. Thanks! (The description says they have plastic inserts.)

I have tried some of the cheaper weights, and my advice, is don't waste your money.  Your going to lose baits, hooks, and in the long run end up spending MORE money.  Most of the cheap weights, like said, can be a little rough.  The more expensive weights are very smooth, and won't damage your line like the cheaper baits will.

Check Northern Bass Supply they have a website, search tungsten and you will find half way down on page.

why would they need to be painted?

Save yourself time and the possibiltiy of wasteing $ and but theTT.

I think the finish on the weights would actually attract bass because its somewhat reflective and it could look like a the worm or other soft plastic would look like its chasing a little fish or bug.

As to the above post I think the OP was looking for a cheaper alternative, just like we all have asked about senkos and their rivals.

Choke Canyon Boy, go ahead and try em out let us know what you think, for 7 bucks I would try them out. Actually I just might...

Bass Pro has their own BP brand that are a couple bucks cheaper than the TT ones or any others.

That's the best I have seen, that aren't online...

1/8 oz is too small for me I was looking for more like 3/8oz. I'm not cheap with anything else so I just went ahead and bought the tt oh well thanks for the tips guys...

I have used Brent's weights and they are a nice alternative to TT.

I dont care about unpainted weights.  They all lose their paint if you fish them correctly.
