7 X Pb, 233 Bass In 4 Days Wow!!!!

Featured Replies

Looks like this is the trip to start planning for. I read that June and July offer the best fishing at Baccarac and Salto due to lowered water levels. The water is at its lowest in July since the local Sinaloa agricultural "grow season" is at its peak this time of year.

I recommend checking out the web site for Baccarac Lake. I bet some of Jeff's pictures make the fish of the month photo album.

Amazing story an pictures, thanks for sharing.

Very possible. Doesn't look like I'm going to qualify for the TOC this year. Been working instead of fishing.

I probably should have taken this trip BEFORE buying a new house... Guess I'll need to start working in the honeydo list ASAP to get in her good graces enough to let me go to Mexico to fish :)

HOLY SMOKES! What a report! Man O man, that place just got the number one spot on my list.

Congrats guys!!

Have you guys thought about putting together a guide for those of us that might be considering a trip like that? I know I am interested and would appreciate any insight that could be shared.

You SUCK SUCK SUCK SUCK SUCK SUCK SUCK and SUCK.

you know its bad when this comes from the guide on the best bass fishing lake in the US. who dink drops 5 lbers. ..jeff was dink dropping 7 lbers,

congtats on the personal best and joing the dd club.. ill have to make a trip down there one day

d**n. not much else i can say. i'll never post in the "outtings" threads again after seeing that.

WTG, Jeff!

83 bass over 5lbs in four days is insane!! I've experienced a couple "feeding frenzy" situations on Okeechobee but I have never experienced a bite like you just described.

You've just added one more item to my "bucketmouth list"

Awsome!

Looked like you had some difficulty holding up a couple of those bad boys!

After a couple days of that, anybody would have a hard time holding them up! LOL

Jeff

Planning a trip with my dad next summer for sure!

It is something you will not regret. Let me know if there is anything I can help with!
