Are you mixing them or using them individually? That brown and black with a few strands of chartruese would be an interesting combo.

bkohlman,

I already have a color scheme for you. If the colors are as listed in that order. Then I would do ylw/chart bottom, copper sides w/black glitter. If the colors are mixed differently, then we can change that around. Definitely a 2 or 3 color process, and then fill in the skirt strands with the colors you want to dominate and then the ones you want to be subdued. Or maybe a copper color with the black like you and I spoke about will look really good. Samples are on there way. Good choice of colors.

Cadman is the man, hes helped me a lot.. Making jigs can be frustrating in the begining but with some patience and help, its hard to beat catching fish on a jig youve created.

Cadman turned me into a jig making machine. His heads keep me busy and in the garage away from the wife.

Missouri Craw? With copper? Either way, I like it!!!!

Cadman's a beast!!! Took time off his busy schedule to help me out. Thanks Cadman!!!

Hookset Don and SouthTexasbassin: I am glad to be of some help to both of you. It is nice to have the internet this day and age, as this way we can all help each other with any kind of questions or problems we encounter in our quest to make jigs. Good luck and post pics of your creations. If you have more questions just post on this site or you can always e-mail me. There are many talented guys on this site that I'm sure will help out.

RyneB: I don't know if that is a good thing or not. On the first comment at least your wife knows where you are at and you stay out of trouble. On your second comment, I can't comment on that. LOL.

All in all, I have always enjoyed helping guys out with info on how to create their own jigs. There is no magic or secret formula. All it takes is time and patience.

Just an update.....my jigs helped my boss win a tourney in KS, but he has won his bass club overall for the last 7 or 8 years, so it might be him and not my jigs.

Interesting color. I too have had help from Cadman and am thankful for it. As for thread or clollar I use thread, the silicone, hair or rubber puffs out more. I use a whip tool and Flex Head cement.
