Featured Replies

Check out my new/used rig..Picked her up today. Can't wait to get her out on the water. No wood on the boat. Both decks are aluminum.

Nice boat! Be careful with those high decks on the narrow boat! My last one I built was like that and it was tippy! Have fun and be safe!

I had that exact model Lowe for several years with a 15hp tiller drive Johnson for bowfishing/small waters boat. Caught lots of nice fish out of it in ponds and small lakes. I built a deck on the front of it but it was wood and man did it add a lot of weight! You'll be a lot better off than I was with that aluminum deck. I didn't have any problems with it being unstable at all, even with me and one of my much larger bowfishing buddies were both on the same side of the boat looking for fish it rode just fine. Also in case you're looking for a motor for it that 15hp motor was strong enough to get on plane as long as it was just me and not a ton of gear. It was kind of scary going that fast in that little boat. I believe that was the max HP rating on it? Congrats on the boat!! :respect-059:

Sam,

It's a perfect Rez Runner for the Occoquan.

It's going to be great. I'll keep an eye out for the "perfect" outboard for ya!!
